This was our first time since the new ownership. The place looks great. The food was fantastic. I had the veggie omelette and it was perfectly cooked. The staff was super friendly. The only suggestion would be to change up the orange juice, it was a little bitter. We will be back.

OkAy let me tell you they changed ownership of the Capital Cafe in Fremont NC. When I tell you the new owners came ate and didn't leave any crumbs. Baby that's like the best Theme I've ever seen. Kudos because as a Black owner they showed up and showed out I haven't eaten the food yet I'm waiting.
I love the hamburger and the breakfast. The staff members are polite and friendly. The prices are great. The bathrooms are clean but need a little remodeling. The atmosphere in the dining room is very nice. I like visiting this restaurant..

I had the time of my life today in Fremont nc all my friend talk about it and I tired it and I had fish ,fries,and a orange Sunkist and it was 10/10 all overKid-friendliness: They had a high chair of my son and daughter .
Trying for the first time today since the new ownership has taken over. I think it's been open about a month at this point.The menu is a typewritten piece of paper with no prices. When I ask the server the prices she did not know.They only have four sides. French fries, potato wedges, okra and onion rings. They were out of okra and onion rings when I was there. I ordered the fried pork chops smothered with potato wedges.After waiting a full 50 minutes I still did not have my food. The server was very apologetic. I ended up leaving without eating because at that point I didn't have time to eat food even if it was in front of me immediately.I was there in the middle of lunch time. There were five other tables seated at the same time I was there, three of which had two people at them. I was by myself and there was another gentleman by himself. One person came in for a takeout order. So the place definitely was not busy.All of the tables except two are the bar stool type height, personally I don't like those types of tables and chairs. The two regular height tables then so apparently other people like that traditional type better also. The space is newly decorated and was clean.I didn't use the restroom so I can't come in on the condition of that space.As one of the very few places to eat in Fremont, I really hope it gets better.

Got shrimp and fish on Friday, both way over cooked. Fish are done when they float to the top, shrimp cooked until they were like rubber balls .
