Had French onion soup, tasted pretty good until I came accros a piece of plastic (I told them and they did not believe me despite showing them) overall pretty good tho besides the plastic.
Definitely try it! First of all the view of the bay is lovely.
The food was fabulous. Appetizer was blue fish dip with naan. The blue fish was so good. Naan had to be from scratch. Crispy outside, tender inside.
I had the shrimp poboy. Large, and very fresh shrimp. Light batter.
Hubby had the Captain's platter. The scallops were the best we've tasted in a very long time. Really all the seafood was very fresh. Not sure how they mix the batter, but it's light and tasty and leaves you able to enjoy the seafood without overwhelming. Compliments, Chef!
Carlos was our wait staff and he was friendly and very helpful with our choosing.
Highly recommend!
Appetizing presentation and bountiful portions. Nice view at end tables.
One of best fish tacos in obx
We picked up our order. The fish tacos were delicious! My daughter and I split the order as it was so much food! Hubby had the shrimp po boy, very good!!
We absolutely loved this place- the service was excellent, and the restaurant offers a calm, relaxed vibe with beautiful water views. As for the food, the Oysters Rockefeller were hands down the best I’ve ever had and instantly became a favorite. The crab cake sandwich is another must-try; it was truly delicious. The clams, however, were just average and a bit basic compared to the rest of the dishes. Overall, aside from the clams, everything we tried was fantastic. I definitely recommend this spot for a quick brunch or lunch.
The food was delicious! The owner was very nice. Definitely want to come back.
Absolutely some of these best food I’ve had in the area. This place has a coastal vibe with Mexican flavors. The wings were cooked perfectly. The drinks were amazing. I had the pozole which reminded me of my mom’s cooking. Wife had the green chicken enchiladas with some of the best Mexican rice around. The service was fast and very attentive. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!!!
We had an awesome breakfast here. The Cowboy omelet is not your average western omelet. The ample amount of fajita steak makes it unique. My wife had the Western Succotash Veggie omelet & added a side of bacon. The ingredient combo was awesome & had just the right amount of heat. We didn't leave hungry, that's for sure.
GROUPER BITES!!! Very nice experience.

The Best fish tacos
Probably one of the worst dining experiences i’ve had. The atmosphere of this establishment is very confusing. It described as a “coastal grill” yet the inside depicts dive bar/mexican restaurant. There was also very loud classical music playing in the dining area. The restaurant was empty when I arrived, which was on a weekend around noon (red flag). The server stated that all items on the menu were fresh. I ordered the fish bites off of the appetizers which were without a doubt frozen and deep fried, and flavorless. The spinach and artichoke dip was liquid with massive chunks of uncooked artichoke. The liquid was pouring over the dish and onto the plate it was served on. The fried pickles were so soaked with grease that they didn’t even taste like a pickle. When telling the server that the spinach and artichoke dip was not edible, he stated “it is, but I wont charge” and didn’t bother to apologize. Do not waste your time or your money at this place. I wish I would have read further into the reviews before coming.
Excellent food, service and staff were awesome definitely will be back!
My husband and I recently ate here and were surprised the place wasn’t busier. For casual dining it’s one of best places we’ve eaten at locally. My husband loved the enchilada and I thoroughly enjoyed the fish tacos. It was great to find somewhere that does soft shell corn tortillas. The khalua flan was a lovely way to end our meal.
