We visited this place on Christmas day, and we were having some internet issues the reception in Hatteras was not good at all the managers give us the Wi-Fi and we were able to reserve a hotel room in Nags head I want to mention how kind and polite they are my son is severe allergic to dairy and shellfish this place has a fryer only for seafood and the other for non-seafood this a big plus! we know we are in a beach town and seafood is in every restaurant menu, but this venue offers many options for people with allergies the food was great the Margaritas are the best, and the place was clean nice friendly staff we really recommend trying the tachos Machos and the surf and turf special was delicious great customer service we will be back

went to this restaurant on Christmas afternoon because it was one of only a few restaurants that were open. I ordered an appetizer. This is their description of the appetizer from their menu *Coastal Gratin Stuffed Oysters Our version of a classic... Six shucked oysters stuffe with fire-roasted poblano peppers, mozzarella & gouda mix, chopped bacon & butter beurre blanc When the appetizer arrived, there were 13 oysters cooked the way it says above I can't eat 13 oysters. I'm only one person so I stopped the person who was waiting on me and asked if There was a mistake because there were three times the amount of oysters on the plate he said no that's how it comes. I said OK thank you you. Then I waited 35 minutes for a shrimp Poboy there were two other people in the restaurant besides me eating that's it a shrimp Poboy if you're completely incompetent and have never cooked a day in your life might take you 12 to 15 minutes to cook if you're an established restaurant with only two other customers I can't imagine it taking longer than 10 minutes. Frying shrimp takes 4 to 7 minutes, depending on the size and the. Then I got the shrimp Poboy with four shrimp on an 8 inch bun. I cut into one of the shrimp one of the four and it wasn't cooked so when the guy came back by, I told him that I was just gonna take my oysters to go and that I couldn't eat the shrimp Poboy and I also said I think it's laughable that there were four shrimp on this entire sandwich And so then he asked me how many shrimp I wanted and I said I'm I'm not engaging in this kind of toxic conversation. So he brought me a box and the check and I went up to pay the check for my oyster appetizer and I set them to go box down on the Counter in front of me I still can't believe this happened. The guy picked up my to go box with my remaining. I don't know nine or 10 oysters and threw it in the trash and then handed me the bill to pay for the oysters that he just threw in the trash. I ate four or five of them. That's how they treat people on Christmas Day If you have a choice to go anywhere else to eat, I would go anywhere, but this place I have never experienced anything so negative and toxic in my life I I sincerely believe the man was some sort of And I'm grateful that I only had to be around him for 45 minutes of my life The oysters were fair at best I mean all that stuff in the menu sounds wonderful. I just want you to know if you order a shrimp Poboy you will get four shrimp on an 8 inch bun and you'll wait 30 to 40 minutes for 4 shrimp on a burnt bun.

Friendly, well located, and tasty food. Open during the winter months and offering good food. They have a variety of options, offering seafood and beef options. Their location has a good water view that provides a pleasant view from outdoor seating in warmer months. Love their local beer options on tap.

This is some of the best seafood I have had anywhere. We order the combo platter (shrimp, scallops, and Mahi Mahi) and snapper. It was all fresh and fried to perfection. Even the fries were delicious, seasoned with a garlic and herb. The cocktail and tartar sauces tasted homemade. Also everyone was so friendly. They were the nicest people I've encountered the entire trip. We will definitely be back every time we are here.

The food was absolutely delicious. Me and my family were extremely satisfied. We got takeout, however when he went inside, everyone was friendly and kind. Me, personally, would recommend this place to everyone I came in contact with for the rest of eternity. The service and food to 1000% my favorite on the whole island.

On vacation camping and wanted to try a local spot. Glad we chose here. The captain's platter and snapper plate was beyond delicious. Best I've ever ordered. Also the staff were the nicest people I've spoke too on the island. Everyone has been rude except this establishment. 10/10 recommend everyone to try. Ill definitely be coming back.

The Fried Chicken!!! Omgoodness!!! Now I gotta tell you I am a seafood lover so when I come down to Hatteras, I usually get seafood every meal, but I saw how people raved about the fried chicken and my husband and I just had to go! It was absolutely delicious as was the coleslaw and mashed potatoes! The service equally wonderful!!! Seriously if you love fried chicken, definitely go ahead and grab ya some!

Family stopped here for the first time under this name and we had a pretty good experience. Some meals were better than other but we all felt it was a good experience and nothing stood out as unsatisfactory. I felt the previous owners were slightly better but food arrived quickly and service was very good.
