“Ate there on my birthday. May 22. Food was great. I had the sheepshead and my husband had the oysters. Chloe, our waitress was wonderful. She treated us to a bowl of the famous chowder and chocolate cake. We loved it so much until we stopped on the way to the ferry and bought some frozen. Everything we ate was perfect..”

“Buxton Munch is the best place. 27 years serving the Village, so they're doing it right! The food, owners, staff and atmosphere are a true local gem! The shrimp and fish tacos are our favorite, but all the food is great, nice portions and good prices. It's tucked away in a small strip mall, it's across the street from Dollar General and the ABC store. If you pass it, turn around, it's worth the U-turn.”

“My wife and I visited Isola the last week October 25th through November 1st. We visited twice that week. The first visit we had the Chicken Marsala suggested by the waitress, who was very nice. It was very good. On our second visit we ordered a carry out Calzone, which quite good. Prices were very reasonable.
We will gladly recommend Isola to others and we will visit them next year.”

“We love Avon Seafood in Hatteras! Every year we buy our fresh seafood from here to grill on the beach or steam our own pot. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The seafood is amazing.”

“These tacos and nachos were SO GOOD! I highly recommend. They have their own homemade hot sauce also, this was amazing! Their guacamole is on point if you like guacamole this is your stop! The people are amazing and kind, service was amazing gas well, it’s a definite yes!”

“We had their pizza one night and it was amazing. We returned the following night and ate in. Ceasar salad, Italian sub, fettuccine Alfredo, ham and cheese sub and fries were amazing too. Their prices are great too. My only complaint would be they close at 8:30 PM, but that is the normal for the area.”

“Best crab cakes ever, hot and very tasty. Shrimp, delicious. Great coleslaw, hush puppies and decent fries. I thoughtthe scallops may be from another type fish. Grain was wrong, but very tasty. Overall a good stop. Reasonable pricing. It's a bar, so it is noisy.However the service was good.”
