A great small town brewery with local bands playing inside frequently. They almost always have a fantastic food truck parked outside.

I never thought I’d have to write a review like this, but here we are.

I stopped by this place after work—somewhere I’ve visited twice before—and noticed a stage set up. Curious, I decided to go in. I’m no stranger to predominantly white spaces, and I don’t expect anyone to see me as anything other than a paying customer. The only color that should matter in this context is green—the money I came to spend.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the energy I received.

There was a bartender, name starts with “A” (I overheard it in conversation with another customer she seemed genuinely happy to serve). She had long black hair and passed by me three times without so much as a glance. Each time, she checked in with a couple sitting nearby, asking if they needed anything. Only after that did she finally acknowledge me and take my order—and even then, her demeanor was cold and uninterested.

As someone who’s been a bartender since 2013, I know what good service looks like. And this wasn’t it. There was no greeting, no eye contact, no effort. It felt like serving me was a burden rather than a basic part of her job. So no, I didn’t leave a tip—and I don’t regret it. Especially after seeing how quickly and warmly she served another guest who sat down shortly after me—someone who clearly didn’t look like me.

To the owner: thank you for being the only one to acknowledge me, even if it was just as I was walking out. I almost said all of this to you then, but by that time I was already too frustrated to get into it.

If this space isn’t truly open to everyone, then be honest and say that up front—on the door, on the flyer, wherever. Save people like me the time and the insult.

We are here often for business functions as well as social events. It is a great place to gather. Great atmosphere and friendly staff!

Chamber of Commerce meeting in the back room. Had no idea the backroom existed! They have swing dancing? Game night? Great hosts. Hopefully there will be more chamber events there.

Wide selection of locally brewed beers! Order flights, loved it. Live music, no food or food truck. Don't think they serve free peanuts anymore. It was not busy on a Sunday afternoon. Will visit again.

Overall, it’s a must-visit if you’re in Fuquay-Varina, offering quality craft beer in a friendly, community-driven space.

The woman who waited on us was on us was so incredibly friendly I just stopped in to get a sticker but we had to stay a while and hang out. Had a great beer and they had a market going on. Awesome place.

The hoses need to be cleaned, 2 stars was generous. Clean your hoses!

So I had the opportunity to sample the “Scapegoat” hazy IPA this evening. The beer tasting experience that followed was next level! The fainting goat has it figured out! Their ability to pack that much flavor into a 16oz vessel is unparalleled. Not only was the beer phenomenal, but the staff that help me on my beer flavored experience was also so friendly, helpful, and kind that felt to be a part of family. Comparable to none other in the area, Fainting Goat is the pace to visit!!!!

I liked the beer menu. Great choices. Didn't like how they didn't put prices on the menu. Why is this a thing more and more? Find out the price after you have pours and are ready to pay. In the end, premium prices, like $7 before tax. Beer was average. Not bad. Not great. Had the Honey Wit (zero sweetness or hint of honey) and the Pomegranate Wit (again, very light on pomegranate). For some odd reason they only did 13oz on the pomegranate beer. Same abv. So in summary, generally good but not great. Prices too high for a smaller city and transparency on pricing is awful. However, I'd like to try more of what they offer.

I had the stout and Belgian, they were very tasty. Lizz is a greater bartender. We will be back.
