It was uncharacteristically slow on the day that we went. The food is usually great but not this time. My biscuits were cold and hard. Chicken strips were hard and the potatoes were very bland. My server was very attentive and apologized for the poor quality of food but did not offer a replacement.

Over the past year the quality of the food and service at several cracker barrel restaurants has gone downhill. Not enough wait staff to take proper care of the customers. The food is nowhere near as good as it used to be. And after extremely long waits, upwards of an hour, the food arrives to the table, at best, luke warm, if not altogether cold. The country store is nice and it seems to be where all the effort is being placed. But that's not what built the restaurant chain. I miss the quality food that used to be. I'm sorry to say I think I'm done with cracker barrel.

Took the family for a dinner night, it was slow and not really busy. I have eaten at the cracker barrel many times and would always recommend it. This particular evening was not their best but you could tell they were short on service staff.Kid-friendliness: Full kids menu with breakfast items all day.
Recommended dishes: Grandpa's Country Fried Breakfast

Good old comfort country food. Reasonable prices, and great selection of goods in the store. Love the old time candy.Vegetarian options: Not vegetarian so I cannot give details, I have only seen the section on the menu.Parking: Ample parking during off peak times. They even have spots for larger vehicles like RV's and buses.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking directly in front, tables can accommodate wheel chairs.

Our server must have been new. Her lack of attention on her tables (the few she had at the time) was minimal, She delivered biscuits, butter & apple butter and left us over minutes with no silverware, So finally I got up and stood by the server/kitchen entrance way for someone-anyone ( a half dozen servers all clamored together in the 5' X 10' area) to ask what I needed standing their so close to the kitchen. Finally I flagged at one who again, visually looked at me with very little concern! The Friday Fish/Cod dinner was cold, so was the mac & Cheese on the plate and the little side item dish was lukewarm. Hungry as we were, I eat what I needed and left to pay. We both still gave her 18% when the pop-up/tip suggestion came up. (in these post Covid days, those pop-ups for tip is almost insulting.) As a past restaurant owner, raised in the backend of a restaurant in NYC in the 1970's, this "Post Covid" excuse of employees lack near everything in the responsibilities of customer service and management & food companies at there wits end not to resolve this matter is totally beyond me! We were delivering a car to our mechanic and hour outside of our home NW Brier Creek, we frequent the Cracker Barrel nearest our home, close to the airport and have always been pleased there. We pulled of the hwy seeing Cracker barrel knowing we were really hungry for some good old country food. I'm a retired Director of Food Services for two departments at Duke Medical University in Durham, past restaurant owner from Florida and past operations Director at Hyatt Hotel Riverwalk @ Jacksonville Florida. Out of respect for the trade, I will share my experiences with all acquaintances, associates, neighbors & friends and at our local Cracker Barrel near the airport!!! Good Luck Cracker Barrel

The food is 50/50 - it is either just terrible or really good. Just got mac & cheese that tasted spoiled, the biscuits are often undercooked and doughy, and the mashed potatoes were hard/old. The pancake tacos were good - a little dry and syrup was forgotten - but okay.

Diamond was our server she was fantastic and a sweetheart. We sat at a big table in front of the fireplace and it was cozy. Their country store has so much to offer it’s crazy.Dietary restrictions: So our friend needed to order something on the lighter side and Diamond made it possible without question.Parking: Parking is a plenty but if you have something a little bigger make sure you ask where to park first.Kid-friendliness: Our youngest ordered and she’s picky tsar was happy with her food.

It was the worst experience I've ever had at a Cracker Barrel. The table was not clean when we sat down at it. We were not given utensils. They gave me pork bacon and ham, although I told the waitress that I wanted the Impossible sausage because I do not eat pork. My pancakes were put on a dirty plate. Will not go back!
