Came in, and they were not that busy. After being seated, we waited over 25 minutes, and no one came and took our order or even got us our drinks.

Our server was fantastic and so attentive, even though she was so busy; her name was Alyssa. The food was hot and very tasty! I had the old-timers breakfast and added grits, someone else had country fried steak and someone else had chicken fried chicken. Those biscuit beignets are to die for!!

I feel bad for the servers. They must be short handed. Took nearly an hour to get our food. There were plenty of open tables. It's not anyone's fault...it's just the way it is nowadays. Our server was great. Apologetic and good customer service.

We go here almost every Monday for dinner for years now, the past few visits it seems things have been going downhill for some reason? The meatloaf this past visit was dry and appeared to be something that was frozen and reheated instead of freshly made. It's usually something one of us gets almost every visit. The Southern Fried Chicken was excellent as usual. The previous two weeks we ended going elsewhere due to the wait times as it appeared they were short staffed even though the parking lot was nearly empty compared to usual. Not sure what is going on there but it appears that changes are being made and sadly those changes are affecting the quality and service. Regrettably and sadly, we are now looking for a new place to dine on Monday evenings. We may stop by occasionally just to see if there are any improvements since it has been a favorite for us for years. Don't know if it's new management, new directives from upper management, or just staffing issues, but sadly, it's having a negative impact on them.

Decent but not great food. Service is okay. You don't get as much as you used to for the money.
This place keeps getting slower and slower. Ordered food with drink order. Been over 35min and haven't brought out salads. Another table had to grab the manager since they had also been there for 30min with no one to take their order. If you can't handle the customers you have, stop seating more. This isn't all cracker barrels just seems to be Gastonia. Do better please.

My wife and I, went there today 4/19/2024,and we ordered breakfast, the silverware was dirty, and we asked for carry out utensils the waitress got pissed, and she said it wasn't her fault when our food came out, the gravey tasted like grease, the sausage wasn't done, I know they were busy, and we called some guy over and told him about it, and he acted like it wasn't nothing, so I paid for it and the cashier asked how it was I told her it was pitiful and that I would never be back to this nasty place

We ordered takeout and this nasty dried out meatloaf is what I was given. It was so dried out, that you couldn't eat it.
