EJ's Soul Food & Vegan Bar & Grill

My first experience with EJ's was phenomenal!! I called to do takeout, Dara gave me a suggestion for the vegan beef tips with gravy and mashed potatoes. I was HIGHLY impressed and it did not disappoint 😋 she knows what is good and if that's a base line, I am excited to try more!! Thank you for the outstanding food and service 🫶🏻

The food does taste good but the prices RIDICULOUSLY HIGH. This is my first and last time going to this restaurant. You have to be a millionaire to eat comfortably at this place. The prices are extremely high. The portions is most definitely NOT worth the money

Wife and I went for brunch today and everything was delicious. The salmon bites were cooked perfectly and the 704 sauce served with it was a great pairing. I had chicken wings and the red velvet waffle for my entree. The chicken was cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor. The waffle was fluffy and delicious as well. We can’t wait to bring our family to experience the place.

This place has incredible vegan food! I got some of the best Vegan shrimp n grits I’ve ever had in my life. The vibes were good inside, the music was the perfect volume (not too loud!) and the staff was great! If we lived in Gastonia we would be here every week!

Service was friendly. We tried a few drinks from the bar—they sounded great but you could barely taste the alcohol. The chicken was really well seasoned and cooked. The ribs were well flavored as well.

I don't know why it took me sooo long to find this gem!!! I had the flounder, collards, and yams!! The seasoning on that fish!!! The yams are on point and they know how to cook greens y'all! First and NOT the last!
