Placed an order today 3.27.25, I ordered 2 medium pizzas and bread sticks for delivery. After 30 mins I only get the bread sticks and am told I will have to call the store since they were not given my pizzas for delivery. I call and explain the issue. The manager says it will be almost and hour by the time I will get my pizzas. I then ask for a refund which she refuses to do. Then she hangs up on me mid sentence. I call back two more times and am immediately hung up on. This manager needs to be fired. Talk about completely horrible service. I reached out to the corporate office to which they said a refund should have been no issue and that this manager would be dealt with. Reading the reviews for this branch it seems they have a pretty bad set of managers running the place into the ground.

All I'm going to say Is do not order delivery unless they have delivery drivers, If they do not have delivery drivers they will use door dash and it's a mess, Ended up having to go pick my food up

Waited 20 minutes to get my food that I was looking at the moment I walked in. Multiple others had been there for 30 plus minutes. Customer service is nonexistent. The excuse for the ones waiting 30 or more was, "the pizza is still in the oven". I just wanna know what pizza takes 30 minutes in the oven now.

I ordered a pizza and a drink but I didn't get the drink I ordered and when I called back the manager had refused to remake my order. But I had to wait 15 to 20 min for my drink making my food cold

I would not order from here. The general manager is absolutely pathetic. We have a ring doorbell. Have recorded a “manager” per his words. This has happened twice now. The same “manager” has snatched the receipt from our son’s hand. Then claimed our son “was rude” to her. Then she shoves the pizza at him and walked off. When we contacted him he blatantly told us to kick rocks. I wouldn’t order from this store ever again. If manager and general managers are allowed to treat customers this way. They shouldn’t be in charge.

Edit: I spoke with corporate. Ken isn’t even a manager at this location. It’s a random member of the team acting like a general manager. If you check the review histories this isn’t the first time “Ken” is mentioned.

This is a bad place for pick up Pizza when you tell them put light jalapeño, they always loaded up and when I order cheese pizza, I always want extra cheese on it on my large pizza, one topping and they don’t put extra cheese on it i call back talk to Manager and she said you’re not welcome here in the store anymore. I wonder why you have so Bad review and only two star y’all need to change the management this lady woman is not very nice lady he doesn’t know how to talk to customer. this place is only for delivery and pick up

I had a terrible experience with this store location. My food order was late they partnership with door dash. So when I called to check on where my order was they said it was delivered already but I didn't have it. So one of the managers came on the phone her name was Ryan! She was extremely rude and dismissive, she seemed annoyed that I was even calling. This was an awful experience from start to finish, and I won't be ordering again.

I placed a large order today with not a lot of notice. I could tell this put a strain on the store. We had a bad storm recently and I guess everyone else had the same idea I did. I was a little flexible with my deliver time and they worked it out for me. Shout out to Kenneth and his team for going the extra mile today. You made my staff really happy!

The guy Kam was very nice got my order correctly and the energy was great thank Kam and he was by himself working front counter and doing pizza and he washed his hands after he took my order ❤️ it thanks again

Placed an order for delivery. Ordered wings , the wings were undercooked , some sauce just drizzled over the wings that wasn’t the right flavor . When called the female I spoke to lied and said I was cussing at her and hung up the phone . I called back and the general manager hung up the phone not allowing me to speak . Very loss poor customer service and horrible food service do not order from here

I placed a delivery order. In my order I added a few extra sauces. When I received my order they weren’t in there. I called the store to speak to the manager. A guy who said his name was Virgil got in the phone. I told him who I was and that the sauces I ordered were not sent. He called me a liar and said he put them in there. I know a few sauces doesn’t seem like a real reason to write a review but…. I did pay for them and not get them. The main thing was his attitude. He put me on hold and then came right back on acting as if he was speaking to another caller. I told him I was the person he just put on hold about the sauces. He literally screamed into the phone that I was lying, being belligerent and calling him names. Never once did I call him a name. I mean come on, it’s a few sauces. He called me a liar again and hung up the phone. Virgil, at Papa John’s on Chester in Gastonia, if you see this, don’t be so pissy and yell at your customers. Your customer skills are below subpar. To yell at your customers and accuse them of things that were not happening is a low life thing to do. To future customers, I hope you don’t have to deal with this character, he will get your blood boiling lol. To the GM’s and regional managers, I hope y’all don’t allow for this type of stuff. You will definitely lose customers if you do.
