What an experience! An old movie theater turned into a beautiful, unique restaurant. Reservations easy to make. Valet parking available. Seated quickly. The service is outstanding. Knowledgeable, friendly waitress. The food is outstanding. From the steaks, pork chops, salads, appetizers, desserts, everything was delicious. Prepared as requested. Beverage menu is vast with wines and mixed drinks.

The worst experience I’ve ever had!
My friend booked a table for us to celebrate my birthday, and we ended up being discriminated against. The manager walked up to us out of nowhere and accused us of being drunk — which was absolutely insane. We had been sitting there for over 30 minutes waiting for someone to take our order while watching our waiter attend to everyone else around us.
When my friend and I started taking pictures (like anyone would on their birthday), the white couple next to us apparently assumed we were taking pictures of them because of the flash on my phone. Moments later, our waiter finally came over and apologized for the delay. We placed our order — and before we could even relax, the manager showed up accusing us of being intoxicated and told us they were refusing to serve us because “they can refuse anyone.”
It was humiliating, disrespectful, and 100% unnecessary. Moral of the story: if you’re Black, save yourself the embarrassment and take your money somewhere that actually respects you

My wife and I come to Webb’s Custom Kitchen every year for our anniversary, and it never disappoints. The food is always outstanding, the service is top-notch, and the overall experience is something we genuinely look forward to. It’s become a special tradition for us, and we’re grateful for the consistent quality and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend Webb’s for any occasion—but especially when you want to make a memory.

Love the decor, and was seated in the balcony for dinner, Braised short rib was very tasty the service was spot on withe the right level of attention. Definitely would go back!

Ive been here several times. It is a great place with superb steaks. Unfortunately the last couple of visits have been only so-so with regards to the steaks. The service itself has always been excellent.

I couldn't ask for a better experience planning and fulfilling what is probably the biggest date of my life. The manager, Jesse, was so helpful and accommodating when it came to setting up the reservation and timing the proposal. Garrett, our server, was very friendly; he made great recommendations on the wine and entrees. I cannot speak positively enough about the experience I had. P.S.......she said YES!!

Webb kitchen is a Diamond in the rough in Gastonia. It’s casual and its elegant depending on your mood. They are open for lunch and dinner closed on Monday. If you are in Gastonia and you want to experience a nostalgic atmosphere chic and enjoy a glass of wine or bottle enjoy an outstanding dishes cooked to perfection, this is the place to go in Gastonia.
The food and service were excellent. John did a great job. My wife got braised shorts ribs and potatoes. I got the voodoo shrimp and grits. Also, we shared the fried green tomato appetizer. Everything was great.

We stopped gping here because the inconsistency of the food and sure enough tonight was the same issue. We sat at the bar, the couple nextvto us gott two beautiful filets, so thats what I ordered. Mine looked bouled and not charred and was rare, not medium rare. Bartender sent it back and it was burnt not charred . I ate it and didn't complain. My partner had the tuna, it was over done and the noodles were gummy. We had martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives. Martinis were 14 dollars which is about average. We were uncharged. 75 per olive and they gave us three. No one mentioned the upcharge on the olives which i would gladly pay. Just thought the should mention it up front, not when you get the bill. I think we are done with Webbs.

We had heard about WCK because a group from our local Art History Museum (BRAHM) had visited several years ago. While returning to our Blowing Rock/Boone home from the CLT airport we decided to stop and give it a try. WOW..............we were blown away. The atmosphere is fantastic and food was delicious. Jesse, a manager, gave us a tour of the former theater! I highly recommend a visit for lunch or reservations for dinner.
