Glendale Springs Inn & Restaurant offers a warm and friendly environment with limited seating, so reservations are a must. The menu is set weeks in advance and posted online. The chicken dish is very good, and the Lemoncello cheesecake remains delicious. The staff provides excellent service, and the chef even comes out to discuss how guests want their entree cooked. Situated near the Blue Ridge Parkway, the location offers beautiful views and is a nice quiet setting. The inn has tight spaces due to its conversion from a residence, making accessibility a challenge. Guests enjoy the large rooms, though bathrooms can be small for two people. The Filet mignon is superb, and the mashed yams are excellent, though the lobster can be tough. Despite minor issues, the food quality is exceptional, making it a great spot for a meal or a date night after exploring nearby attractions such as the Church of the Frescos and Greenhouse Crafts.
