When we go to North Carolina we try to make it a point to stop here. The first time we stopped it was because we saw the billboard signs. We got to sit with the owners father and he told us the story of how Adams came to be-that was a treat! Very delicious food! I can't remember the name of the sandwich I tried this time, it had brisket and pulled pork, I asked them to add jalapenos and oh boy, it was tasty! I asked what the lady recommended as a side, she recommended the Mac and cheese, it is homemade. It was delectable! We will continue making Adams pay off our trip!Parking: Plenty of parking in their dirt lot

I have ordered bbq pork + ribs on three separate occasions. I must say that I am a huge lover of meat. However, on all three occasions I was unsatisfied with the ribs. On all three occasions they were very dry and overcooked.The bbq pork however, is absolutely great. Usually it would be more of a second or third choice pick for me but it stands out over the ribs by far. Each time I had decided to go ahead and eat the ribs before anything else so that I could forget I ordered them.

Traveling home from the coast and rolled the dice. Have had mixed results with some of the Carolina style barbecue I've had over the years but this was excellent. Not overpowering. Ribs were meaty and flavourful and a nice bark. Good brisket. Loved the potato salad. Would stop again when in the area.

Hands down some of the best BBQ I have ever had. Not one bite was disappointing. The brisket, ribs, and pork BBQ on the plate were all juicy and delicious. The dessert brownie had me wanting to turn around and get another one. If you have not stopped by here you're missing out on heavenly food!!!

I work on the road and eat a lot of different places. This one is top teir. Delicious done right barbecue. Got the 2 meat ribs and brisket with baked mac and cheese and collards. Good lawd.

You have to make your orders to go. There is no indoor seating, but there is a little covered area with picnic tables outside. I got Brunswick steward hushpuppies. It was very good, but it was a bad idea, because it was so hot outside and the stew was so hot that I could barely eat any of it. They did have a fan outside pointed towards the tables, but it didn't help much. Plus, there was a huge spiderweb under one side of the table. My husband got the sliced turkey sandwich without the sauce. I had a few bites of that and it was good. The staff was friendly and I was able to get my food quickly. I liked the food, but I just would prefer if there was an indoor seating area.I've gotten the pulled pork bbq before and the brisket sandwich with no sauce before and I liked them both...but the last time I got those was a couple years ago at least. I assume it'd still the same, but I can't say for sure. Also, I tried the corn sticks before and they had no flavor. I would recommend getting hushpuppies instead.Parking: Gravel parking lot with parking in front and behind the building.
