When we go to North Carolina we try to make it a point to stop here. The first time we stopped it was because we saw the billboard signs. We got to sit with the owners father and he told us the story of how Adams came to be-that was a treat! Very delicious food! I have ordered bbq pork + ribs on three separate occasions. I must say that I am a huge lover of meat. However, on all three occasions I was unsatisfied with the ribs. On all three occasions they were very dry and overcooked.The bbq pork however, is absolutely great. Usually it would be more of a second or third choice pick for me but it stands out over the ribs by far. Each time I had decided to go ahead and eat the ribs before anything else so that I could forget I ordered them.

Traveling home from the coast and rolled the dice. Have had mixed results with some of the Carolina style barbecue I've had over the years but this was excellent. Not overpowering. Ribs were meaty and flavourful and a nice bark. Good brisket. Loved the potato salad. Would stop again when in the area.
