“Pit stopped for breakfast on family vacation. Family owned and operated with friendly and punctual staff. A fair price, and fresh food made this diner shine despite a less then polished building, the welcoming clientele and delicious breakfast made it a winner of a roadside meal.“

“Our server Jennifer was very nice and welcoming.. you can sit anywhere theirs an open table so we sat right by the kitchen an the smells of fresh ingredients increased my appetite. I ordered the homemade waffle with pecans 3 eggs scrambled with cheese the home fries an 2 turkey sausage links an a bowl of grits. My wife ordered Mitchell’s Mayham which consisted of a gravy biscuits with shredded cheese an eggs on top we even got French toast an eggs for our son let me tell you this place is a Dimond in the rough for sure as for everything we ate was great…. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. They even serve lunch for 11 till 2 if your ever in Goldsboro NC give this place a try“
