Brandy and I absolutely loved it. The butter chicken and chicken vindaloo were probably some of the best we’ve ever had. The service was great, and the staff made us feel welcome. It’s a new place, so it’s not too busy yet, but it needs to be. The ambiance was unique and cool. Rank and File is a must-eat-at spot in Goldsboro. We’ll definitely be back.

Rank & File Gastropub offers fabulous food in a casual and fun atmosphere. The menu changes cuisine, with some tried-n-true staples kept on the menu. Favorites include the oxtail and butter chicken, the Cajin or Caribbean chicken sandwich with side salad, and the carrot cake, which is to die for. The beer and wine lists are extensive, with many labels new to Goldsboro. The service is impeccable; the staff are attentive, personable, and gracious. They are very knowledgeable about the menu and give great service. The hospitality is amazing, making the experience a ten out of ten. The atmosphere is nothing stuffy—just wonderful food, great hosts, and lots of laughter. It is a great place for date night. Everyone needs to check this place out, as chefs, beers, and wines all change up, so there is always something new to try.
