Well riding across North Carolina on the Mountains to Coast cycling event, we spent the night of October 9 in Goldsboro. Had dinner at Torero’s. It was probably the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The flavors were delicious. The owner stopped by and chatted with us. Said he cooks everything from scratch each day. He uses seasonings and spices other Mexican restaurants don’t use. Highly recommend a stop here if you’re in the area. I’m from Michigan and I’ll be back.

Visiting here from Chicago, my expectations for a hearty burrito were perhaps set a bit too high. I ordered a macho burrito, asking for no rice, but what I received felt more like a veggie burrito. The meat was disappointingly sparse.
It's a letdown when you eagerly anticipate something, only for it to fall short of your expectations.

Don't bother coming for dinner in the last hour, they close the kitchen. It says they close at 10, we came in at nine to order sit-down or even pick up and were told that the kitchen was already closed

How did I not know about this place??? The food is 10 out of 10. The service was excellent. The price was unexpectedly low. My goodness... this may be my favorite restaurant.

Food is delicious, portions are large compared to other Mexican restaurants. Price is good.The only thing restaurant has a weird smell, I don’t know what that is but I don’t like it. Other than that everything is great!

This is NOT a Brazilian Steak House as they promote. Don't expect to be like Texas of Brazil. Very different taste from our Brazilian food. They are a Cuban Restaurant with Cuban Chef and Cuban owner. LOUD Mexican and Cuban Music.
