The food was amazing! Very friendly staff. The diner has a 1950 feel to it and it was very nice inside. Highly recommend this place for travelers that just want a good meal as your passing through

We stopped at Mel’s on the way to the beach for lunch and on the way home for breakfast. The food, service and atmosphere were all wonderful. The owners and staff were so nice. Highly recommend! Will definitely stop again on future trips to the beach!

Well sign said under new management, went to have breakfast this morning another sign on front door only open Monday thru Friday. Already a problem when they will be open. Do they not know that Saturday and Sunday is the turn over days and that is when they would get alot of business.

Shelly was a great waitress and very personable. A nicer older lady, I did not get her name, was super attentive as well. The food was SO SO good omg. The southern hospitality is real around here, coming from a jerseyean who doesn't see it too much ?
