Simply exquisite. Endless hospitality. A menu that makes you want to order lunch or dinner AGAIN. Cocktails to knock your shoes and socks off. 1618 Downtown is one of my favorite places to go when in Downtown GSO. The staff, the food, the cocktails, the atmosphere have NEVER disappointed me in the slightest. Absolutely love.
Co-workers had been recommending this for a while and it is definitely worth checking out as soon as you're able to. The value of this place is amazing for the quality/quantity of food you get. Along with amazing service. Went with my wife, sister, and 2 kids (niece and nephew) and my sister couldn't have been happier because she bought a burger for the kids to split and our waiter offered to make it 2 separate burgers vs cutting in half since it was a double patty originally....
We had a large group reservation with family and friends coming from out of town. We only had about an hour to find a reservation and we're met with multiple restaurants who would not only not take reservations, but also could not guarantee we would sit together.Finally, after calling 1618, we were met with the most pleasant individual who was not only accommodating, but completely understanding of our last minute ordeal. The staff at 1618 were kind enough to set a table...
