The flatbread and the truffle fríes were delicious. I also had the Peanut Butter Pie and it was good.

Went for the first time last night per a recommendation from a friend. The food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. They have a slew of house cocktails and specialty drinks to choose from so naturally I thought I would ask our server for his recommendation. When he came to take our drink order I asked if he had any suggestions for a first timer and told him I like something sweet. He rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders dramatically and said verbatim “Lots of our drinks are sweet”…he could have just said he’s not sure or even ask the bartender but instead he felt the need to embarrass me. He could have been having a bad night and or struggling with something at home but it really put a bad taste in our mouths. We still left him a good tip so I’m hoping he was just having an off night cause everything else was great!

The server was very knowledgeable and the drinks were great. The food was just ok. Fries are amazing but the fried chicken and brussels lacked flavor/seasoning.

Great place for a date night. The bartenders are always and the ambience is classy with out a classy price tag. The food is great, an upscale bar with upscale food, always a nice spot to stop at

Such a good place! Very nice atmosphere and vibe- dark lighting and nicely dressed wait staff. Staff is also very professional and nice! Their food is SO good. Highly recommend the seafood and burger. Very small menu but everything is good. They have a very large cocktail menu with a drink anyone is bound to like. Definitely would recommend making a reservation as there is almost always a wait- especially on the weekends. I often forget about this place. Great place for a date night, parents in town, entertaining customers, etc. great place for “fine dining”.

Grace was so amazing she made sure we had the best night. She made sure to accommodate us for having annoying decaf martinis! Can’t wait to come back and ask for her!

Must go! The food was amazing, the service was incredible, and the environment was such a vibe. I had the steak with their Gouda mac n cheese & asparagus, and it was hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. I’m so picky about my mac n cheese also but theirs is amazing! Definitely will be coming again soon! Not to mention the drinks were delicious ?

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at 1618 on numerous occasions, but my most recent visit was truly exceptional thanks to Terese. Her expertise and warmth elevated the experience to a level I haven't encountered before. From the moment we arrived, Terese greeted us with a genuine smile and an incredible depth of knowledge about the menu, making insightful recommendations that perfectly complemented our tastes.
Her attention to detail was impeccable—every course arrived at just the right moment, and she anticipated our needs with a keen, almost intuitive, sense. Terese’s passion for her role was evident in every interaction; her professionalism and enthusiasm made the meal feel like a personal celebration rather than just another dining experience.
Terese embodies the ideal of service excellence, creating an atmosphere of comfort and delight. I cannot recommend her highly enough—her presence is a true asset to 1618 and ensures that each visit is memorable and extraordinary. Thank you, Terese, for making our dining unforgettable!

It’s a super cute spot and by all accounts should get a 5 star rating easily but unfortunately they have a few things to improve on. I can highly recommend the espresso martini though!
The bottom line is that when you’re spending over $100 for 2 people at dinner you expect a bit more than what we got. Some of the food was delicious like the Cobb salad and NY Strip (although the cut of ours wasn’t the best) and some of it was not so good, the Mac and cheese was bland and the snack tacos were way too expensive for what you get.
The staff is not the nicest, I think only 1 out of the 4 people we interacted with was genuinely kind, but our server Rebecca was not. It actually felt like she had a personal vendetta against us LOL. She was slow to check in on us (they were not busy at this point) and when I ordered a drink from another waitress because she was nowhere to be found she seemed angry about it? I then had to ask her 10 mins later to check on the aforementioned drink that had been ready and was just sitting at the bar.
This is my second visit to 1618 midtown where I felt less than welcome and I think I’ll just take the hint and go somewhere else next time.

Our server Rebecca was really lacking in warmth and effort and seemed almost like she resented us on a personal level. The drinks are good but expensive and the food is not great but also expensive. The steak tacos were $18 for 2 and they seemed exactly like something I’ve made with a meal delivery kit. The NY strip and a great flavor and was cooked well but the cut was horrible, half of it was fat and gristle, the Gouda Mac and cheese tasted like it was made in the microwave, and the asparagus was forgettable. The Cobb salad was delicious, and the only thing I would order again. This is my second time at 1618 midtown where I left feeling disappointed, I don’t think I’ll be back.
