Overall: Definitely a great place for pizza and beers. They also have great subs. I love the Philly cheesesteak and the fried chicken sub. Atmosphere: Isabellas is a small neighborhood bar/pizza joint. There are two doors upon entrance. One for take out and dine-in and another door for the bar. The bar is small with a few tables as well. People frequent to join friends and watch a game or to just catch up. I don't believe they serve hard liquor, just beer and wine. The take-out/done-in area has a few tables and there is also outside seating which people tend to gather quite frequently during the warmer seasons. Food: I am not a pizza fan but I enjoy the pizza here! Not too much sauce, just enough cheese and toppings. Everything I've ever ordered is always HOT, ALWAYS! They have sweet chili wings that are pretty great. I've had their fried mushrooms that were great the first time but inedible and undercooked the second time--so I wouldn't order them again. Their subs are overflowing with meat and delicious. I love the fried chicken sub and the steak and cheese sub! I ordered a salad last night and it was pretty good. Some salads come with fries on them which is a little strange but I was intrigued and was willing to try it, unfortunately for some reason my salad didn't contain any so I don't know if it is actually a tasty combination. I don't know why both of the salads I ordered didn't contain them even though it's on the description and I asked specifically when I called but nonetheless it didn't. Overall, it is definitely a must try and a definite will eat again.

This is absolutely a locals paradise! Great food, friendly staff, and familiar faces every where. Kid friendly with a nice little bar for adults! Most people enjoy hanging out on the patio as well! It’s a family favorite! Highly recommend!

Placed order for delivery at 3:45 pm - was told it would be delivered between 30-40 minutes - after calling back at 50 minutes later was told it was still there but the delivery person was leaving so after waiting another 20 minutes food was ice cold - lettuce was wilted and croutons were soggy- called back spoke with RUDE manager was called a liar - said that his staff would never tell a costumer that the order would only take 30-40 minutes - he was yelling at me and kept telling me I was wrong - I asked for a credit to my card since the food was not edible - was told this would happen which it hasn't so far so now my credit card company is talking over!! Buyer be ware!! I'll never eat here again!!

Interesting experience ordering from Isabella's tonight. My wife ordered a large meat lovers pizza for deliver. She was quoted an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. When the pizza finally arrived the driver apologized for the wait and said that he had trouble finding the driveway. The pizza was barely warm and the crust had gotten tough. It did taste pretty good though... I got the receipt from Square and was asked to comment on our experience. I said that the order took too long and the pizza was barely warm when we got it. I got the following response from Isabella's: "Well we are short staffed. We are trying to deliver to your far location. You can always pick up or w may have to quit delivery in your area. No one wants to work. HeT in over on 400 for a few minutes." Second email from Isabella's: "You are far from the restaurant. We will add you to the out of Area list. We are doing the best we can." To which I responded: "I was asked to comment on our experience so I did. I didn't cuss or get ugly. I merely pointed out that the pizza was barely warm when we got it. FWIW the driver apologized for taking so long with the delivery. He said he couldn't find the driveway." "We have had many successful deliveries from your restaurant at this address. By successful I mean on time and the pizza, while not as hot as right out of the oven and we don't expect that, was warm enough that the crust was still tender and not tough." "So for my comments you are going to stop delivering to us? We would really prefer that that not happen since we like your pizza, bu if necessary we will get our pizzas somewhere else." Isabella's then sent the following email: "We have extended delivery area to try an accommodate all. As everyone knows the restaurant industry is short staffed so any negative review/comment is insulting to this industry. We are all over worked and understaffed so more positive feedback would be appreciated. As you know we are a distance from our restaurant. We have new staff and working to to the best we can. You are free to order wherever you want but if you want to continue to use us that is great but need you to understand it may take a while." At this point I'm through. This is an example of how customer service should not be done. If they had offered a simple apology: "We are very sorry this happened. We are short staffed but will try and do better next time." we would not have thought anymore about it. But to continue to double down on excuses while not excepting any responsibility is unacceptable.

Very unprofessional. I ordered my food and they said it would take 30 minutes to 45 minutes, I been waiting for 2 HOURS , I do not recommend ordering food for delivery here.

Our neighborhood pizza pub. My family loves the pizza and other Italian items, I’m a cheeseburger and fries guy myself, never been disappointed here. Looking forward to our next visit. Just the kind of place an old soldier likes to hang out for a while.

if you do not drink alcohol, you might not like eating indoors.

Family owned and operated and you can tell! This is The Forest Oaks Community Restaurant! Food is Fantastic! Great sandwiches, great pizza, great wings... we have had everything on the menu and it's ALL Good! Never a bad experience in 4 years... probably 40 to 50 meals, perfect!

Nice cozy and laid back place to enjoy a meal. You get plenty for your money. Wait staff was friendly and courteous.

The pizza is usually good but entryways are crowded with people not wearing masks. It is not a family friendly place at this time

Good pizza - horrendous service. They take the phone off the hook when they're busy and then make you wait 30+ minutes if you order from the counter. There's no way to call ahead and pick your food up in a timely manner.AVOID if you are in any kind of hurry or just don't feel like sitting in their dining room waiting, waiting, waiting.

Our family had a very disappointing experience with Isabella's on a delivery. In this day of Covid 19, most restaurants that we've done business with go out of their way to make sure their customers and employees are safe ... it makes good business sense, in addition to actually caring about your customers. We ordered for delivery 3 pizzas and beer, too. In our order, especially since because our mother is 90 years old we expected the delivery person to be wearing a mask. It took over an hour for the delivery. When we opened the door, we were surprised to find the young man without a mask. We asked him "Where's your mask?" and he replied "I don't have to wear one." Again surprised, we asked "Are you sure about that ?" He replied in a rather disrespectful way "Yes I am sure." We took the pizza's and closed the door. We called the restaurant to ask someone or report this to them. The manager or owner (not sure which), instead of apologizing pushed back. We gave him at least a couple of opportunities to apologize but received none and ended the call. Unfortunately, we had purchased online so the tip had already been paid. We told the manager / owner we would never be doing business with them again. The are a few other good take out restaurants, not sure if they deliver. Amigos Restaurant a few doors down on Liberty Rd, Bella Mia Pizza (very good) near Food Lion on Woody Mill Rd and Great Wall Chinese near Food Lion on Woody Mill Rd.

Food has always been good. Have pretty much purchased $35-$40 each week for lunch. Service good. We are under Covid restrictions that require a mask. Today, there were around 25 customers inside. No one had been served their meal and only the waitress and I had on a mask. Do not plan to reo return until state lifts the Covid restrictions. Eat the food food at your own risk! Don't understand what the owner is thinking.

I'm not sure who the cook was this evening but my pizza was tasteless and I had to search for the pizza sauce. I started to think that maybe I lost my sense of taste and that I accidentally ordered a pizza that doesn't contain marinara sauce..but no. I haven't been here in awhile but I don't remember the pizza being this flavorless. Maybe it was a fluke.. Maybe not.
