I was greeted promptly upon entering the building, and the person helping me was very friendly and polite. The establishment was very clean and the food looks great. Can’t wait to dive in!

Food is excellent!

The food was great! I am only on this side of town for work so price wise this is a more expensive lunch but food is so worth it. I will be coming back for sure!

Haven't tried everything yet, but the meatloaf & turkey wings are good. The max/cheese & yams are my go to.

My only con so far has been the jerk chicken. The jerk & baked chicken maybe one in the same, not sure, just the jerk would have the sauce added. My experience the sauce is good, the chicken a little dry.

Haven't been able to catch the oxtails, by the time I get there they're sold out. At least that's a good sign that they're good.

I haven't been to get a plate. From previous customers they have said Ava's food is good! Trying to get there but the way my schedule is they be closed by then. I'm coming to get a plate don't worry! 🙂

10/10 I’m from South Carolina so I’ve been searching for 3 years for a really good soul food spot and I have finally found it. My boyfriend Kameron and I ordered the beef rib, fried fish, collard greens, cabbage, macaroni, yams, and potato salad. Everything was so amazing. Flavor was there! The macaroni remind me of my grandmother’s recipe. We came to Greensboro on to pick up something from a different business. Drove 2 1/2 hours and I had a list of places to try but the TikTok of this restaurant took the cake. We also got the salmon bites and a slice of cake but we are way too stuffed to try it right now but I have a great feeling about those as well!!! Thank you got a great experience. I’ll be back to update my review!!!

This is by far an excellent establishment and business. The food was excellent and their staff are professional and friendly. It’s a business were service matters, my family was greeted with a smile before and after our transaction. We will definitely be coming back very soon.

Hands down the best soul food spot I’ve ever ate at in North Carolina. We will definitely be back. The macaroni cheese is amazing. The candied sweet potatoes are sooooo gooood. Now, those collard greens eggrolls are on point. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Sorry no pictures because we ate all up quick.

My family and I catered from Ava’s Cuisine & Catering for a family reunion and the food was spectacular. Highly recommend for those in the area or visiting. Make sure you stop by!

Amazing experience! Used them for our wedding and they served 200 people food in a great short time. We had it as a buffet option and fed everyone in just under an hour. The food was amazing! Still one of the talks of the party! I would trust them with any project. We didnt have a wedding coordinator so having professionals who you can trust day of your wedding to do yhe job right was key!
