This is the cutest little bakery in Greensboro! The gentleman who waited on us was extremely polite and knowledgeable. The quality of the baked goods speak for themselves! Top notch.

Ordered the lavender latte, which was just the right amount of sweetness and lavender flavor. And enjoyed a couple pastries, including the goat cheese pesto prosciutto croissant, which was recommended to us and did not disappoint!

Friendly and speedy staff. Greattt croissants and breads. The cappuccino was good. The raspberry croissant was great - super flakey and fresh.Day old baked goods are half off. I love the fact they have a small toaster oven for you to heat up your food if needed! Very small venue, and the master baker was on Netflix! Wow.Vegetarian options: All kinds of cake slices and croissantsParking: Around the back

Third time's the charm for this space. Loaf was lovely, as was The Table (still open in Asheboro). Now with Baked Downtown I hope it becomes a long term fixture in Greensboro!Where do I start? I met Taylor, the founder, while sitting at Freeman's Pub and Grub. She and her husband and friends were discussing their plans to open a bakery.Fast forward and Baked GSO opened - but it didn't go as initially planned as The Table vacated their space and suddenly a retail and commercial location opened up!Covid just made them regroup and orders came in. The retail space is delightful-coffee delicious-and the alleyway reminds me of a Parisian cafe.Fresh bread and day and two day old breads are offered along with fresh pastry, savory and sweet, and customer order cakes.Greensboro is blessed with many wonderful bakeries and bread makers but Baked GSO stands out above them all.

Just an incredible downtown gem. The pastries and other baked goods are incredible, and every time I have visitors from out of town, my go-to for impressing them is to put out a plate of Baked's macarons. The owner and staff also stand out as an excellent group of people—yes, I'd still come here just on the food alone, but what really brings me to visit Baked as frequently as I do is that I know that the Baked family will ALWAYS send me out of the shop with a big smile on my face, and that's made it an essential part of my week.

This bakery closes early one Saturday but the worker saw our group and let us in. Not many options left but I did get a couple macarons and a pop tart. Soo yummy!!He also offered a free baguette since they couldn't save those. Glad we got to try the spot as it was so cute and everything I ate was delicious.

This place is a great, located down a small alleyway in downtown GSO. This is a grab-and-go spot but very well worth it. Everything was great. The customer service was wonderful from walking through the door. Honestly, I wanted to buy everything in there but got Coconut Rum Bundt, a couple macarons, iced featured latte for my sitter and a Topo Chico to drink. They have hot cross buns, pound cakes, house made pop tarts, croissants, and assortments of breads (baguettes and challah). Do yourself a favor and go. My sister and I did not speak while we ate our food, it was that good. I'm going back to get that challah bread to make some epic French toast!

I wasn't sure what I wanted, just said to make me something pretty lol the gentleman made me a iced white chocolate mocha latte with caramel drizzled down the sides of the cup and whip cream on top. It tastes amazing! Also, I ordered a feta & spinach stuffed croissant which you get to toast to your liking in their toaster oven. It was all delicious. So many coffee shops downtown but this one was the best I've tried out so far.

On the Almond Croissant scale of 1 to 10, these were a 9, surpased only by Bouchon in Yountville, California. The only criticism is that the vanilla level might be slightly too high (but this is really nitpicking). Well done!

Every review is saying this is downtowns best kept secret, and I can't agree more!I got to speak with one of the bakers (who was trained and grew up in France) and he told me the they were the only bakery that made their croissant dough from scratch!Parking seemed to be a challenge for some people but I found a spot super easily in the lot on the corner of Davie and Washington that was free during the day. They have a huge variety of savory and sweet pastries (if you get there in time because they will sell out!). But I have never found anything I didn't like, plus they have a full espresso bar for all of the caffeine addicts out there. They don't have indoor seating, since it is a take out style bakery, but the alleyway they are located in has two benches and they put out tables to eat and sit at while open. If you're looking for a classical French baked good and a coffee I definitely recommend baked!

Cute pastry/coffee shop downtown. Tucked away in a clean alley. Matcha Latte w/Almond Milk was yummy. (Could've used a little more matcha powder) Great Customer Service!

Service is great with a nice small variety of baked goods. Ambiance is simple, quaint and quiet.

I was hoping for more since I used to frequent loaf all the time but the customer service here is just terrible. The ambience is ok. But the worst part was that I ordered the fig, blue cheese and walnut croissant and there was no fig in it, no walnuts and only one small crumble of blue cheese. My husband and I were shocked that it was sold as having all these fillings in it but it was 99.9% croissant and .01% filling. Terrible experience and won’t be back. I wouldn’t advise you waste your money, as the price it cost for the ‘filled’ croissant is more than a loaf of high end bread from the grocery store. Thanks for stealing my money with your false advertisement!
