I absolutely love ❤️ the book 📕 selection, it actually gives you a wonderful opportunity to browse and shop while waiting in line to place your order. The food selection is great as well and is very tasty. 😋

Hello anytime you find a place to eat with a line and nobody is complaining or turning around. You are in the Right Place. Ben's Boyz is that place. Friendly staff , beautiful art work and books for sale, comfortable seating, Delicious Food with smooth music playing. Plenty of free parking.

I would give more than three stars, but they need to get rid of the rude lady that takes the orders. If she is not happy with her job, maybe she should consider another occupation… or they should keep her in the back. Every time me and my husband go pick up food, she always has a nasty disposition. I don’t think we will be coming back if she is still working there. I’m not sure if they have different cooks, but the food I purchased yesterday was horrible. If you burn something, you definitely should not serve it to your customers. Mac n cheese was dry and the yams. Cornbread was burned and the chicken was horrible. We will not be going back.

The food was absolutely delicious and they give you a lot for your money. Their green beans is so good. And their tartar sauce is some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back

This was a very nice experience. I visited with my daughter and were in awe from the first glance of the bookstore. All black authors and books, for both children and adults. The customer service was welcoming and the staff was very friendly. I spoke to an owner and she was so kind and gracious. We loved the look of the restaurant and the kitchen was amazing. Food was good and prices were great! They even offered a kids menu with real food options, LOL. I am a sure customer for life whenever I visit Greensboro again

The food was amazing it was so good I forgot to take a picture my mate got the braised wings yams and cabbage I got the regular wings Mac and cheese cabbage and I ordered am side of yams they forgot the side of yams but the food was so good I said I will take one for the team we also ordered two of each lemonade 10/10 not overly sweat just right and we also go two strawberry shortcakes and a honey bun cake they were so moist it was literally melting in my hand keep you the good work thank you😘😘😘

Food was good. Portions were small on my to go. It's not made to order. Asked for crispy okra that seemed to be ignored, so I didn't eat it. I don't like the pressue of tipping on to go orders. Tip jar on counter seems forceful. I tipped anyway only to realize later that my request wasn't honored. Overall nice place but probably won't go back anytime soon.

The food here was not for me. Excess grease and oil made the food difficult to eat. The service was poor, which made me think whether this place was a restaurant or a fast food place with seats. I paid for the food, but before I could walk from the cashier to the back to sit a few steps away, I could hear our name being screamed so loudly across the place, by a nice looking lady named, Monae. Yes, i asked for her name to find out how the food was ready so fast, but i hesitated and walked away. the food for two people was all ready to be picked up. We looked with such surprise. As I approached the counter to pick it up, the food looked like it had been dumped on the plate like it was sitting in a bowl to be heated in the microwave for the next order. Before we could even start to put in our mouths, it was partially cold. We ordered the grilled chicken in anticipation of less oil, but we were mistaken. The Mac and cheese looked stilled, the corn bread wrapped in a foil, but cold, we ordered yam but received sweet potato. It was my first time eating at a Black American owned establishment, but what a disappointing experience. I was perplexed about the rating this place had acquired that led my friend to recommend it. I hate to say, but what a complete mess of a food it was. I tried the chicken tasted mac/cheese, and that was it. Worse of all, they spare no hesitation in considering the increased level of diabetes in black people by dumping excess sugar in the sweet tea. I urge you to run from the consumption of that sugar water. Run for your health, far away from that sweet tea. It's sugar in brown water! I tried it and threw the rest in the trash as we left the establishment. Relaxing music, though, but never again.

Ok.The collard greens are outstanding. The broiled chicken was alright. I enjoyed the yams. I was disappointed about cabbage.
I'll probably visit another restaurant if I'm in that area again.It wasn't great and it wasn't bad either.
