Used to be a regular when I worked down the road. Chilli dog was my go to. Bbq plate aswell. Small hole in the wall type place. Food is affordable. Best hush puppy's in town!! Didnt like the cheese cake. Tasted like boxed cheese cake mix. Food isn't seasoned well. No more than salt and pepper. Bathrooms very small. I believe she would do well with a larger place and if she opened longer hours. She gets a lot of regulars and has a loyal customer base.

Was in the area and wanted brisket.. Did a Google search for barbecue places near me, and to my surprise bernie's BBQ popped up and was only 1.4 Mi away from where I was. I drove over noted that it was a small building which for me meant a mom and pops kind of restaurant. Went inside, to my surprise brisket was the special of the day. The cashier was extremely helpful and I placed my order within 5 minutes, yes you heard me correctly within 5 minutes my order was ready and I was out the door. When I got home I did not even have to heat my brisket up it was absolutely delicious! I also had a side of pinto beans and potato salad. I like to have a little fat on my brisket just the way I liked it it was there! Can't wait to go back and visit and tell all my friends about this delicious barbecue spot!

I work down the road from this place. And my gosh if you want some outstanding home cooked meals & or comfort food. This is the place to come I normally get a sausage egg & cheese sandwich every morning or a bacon egg & cheese on a biscuit omelettes outstanding lunch try a grill cheese and bacon yum. And the Sweet Tea OMG if I could order their sweet tea in a 55 gallon drum 😂 I would do it. The sweeter the tea the better. Love Bernie’s. They do get packed depends on time of day. They do try and rush orders out though. But love this place just a small family owned place with outstanding comfort food.
