Our server was attentive and super friendly. The hibachi dinner was tasty and was cooked really well. However, the crab rangoon was very underwhelming— there was little to no filling and just greasy.

The server was a super nice attentive guy. That’s where the good ends. The food was awful. The double decker tuna roll was shorter than a normal nigiri sushi, maybe amounted to 3 nigiri pieces of food, and was $15. Then the Mazeman. This was clearly microwave ramen with the season packet. The pork on it was awful. The only good part was the fried egg. This was $14.
All in with tip -$57. For a tiny roll and 4 packets of microwave ramen, inedible meat, and two fried eggs.
Maybe other dishes are good but you’re rolling the dice. There are much better places for sushi.

Probably my favorite sushi place in North Carolina. Amazing prices on rolls and the service is always polite! Try the crab or California rolls!

This was an amazing experience no complaints everything was good best crab Rangoon I tasted in Greensboro and best teriyaki stir fry most importantly the staff was welcoming and the place is very clean I will definitely be back real soon I didn’t get any pictures food looked and smelled good I was just ready to dig in

Love this place! They even were able to accommodate an avocado roll for my baby and they have great Thai Tea! Friendly service where they remember you and come say hello! It means so much and makes you feel so welcomed. When we eat out Black Ginger IS ALWAYS an option!

I felt compelled to leave my first ever review because of our exceptional experience at Black Ginger Sushi and Asian Fusion restaurant. My daughter had a fantastic 21st birthday celebration at BG! Starting with their happy and welcoming vibe from the initial phone call, throughout our delightful dinner, to the end of her birthday cake sharing. The owner, Surja, and his amazing team not only presented us with the most fresh and delicious sushi, appetizers, and Thai cuisine, they treated our entire group of 30 like family and provided excellent service! To top it all off, the birthday girl was surprised with a beautiful birthday sushi platter and margarita on the house We look forward to repeat visits and highly recommend Black Ginger!!!!
A “rare” 5 star Beffy review. This place has served the people of Greensboro amazing sushi and sashimi for years. I’ve tried many of their sushi options, only to find more and more wonderful menu surprises the more I explore. I always leave full, happy, and my expectations exceeded. The owner has always made a point to greet me at every visit and is very involved to ensure everyone is happy with their experience. The choices on the menu far exceed other sushi restaurants, including Thai options and other types of Asian cuisine. I have not tried anything here that I haven’t loved! The lunch specials are also a great price and the bento box makes sure you are trying many options. Tip: try the hot sake and the Lobster Monster roll for a dinner that impress all seafood lovers. I combined those options with the clear onion soup and the Black Ginger Roll and shared the yellowfin sashimi.

This is BY FAR one of the best family owned places in Greensboro. The owner is always there and gives the best attention. He makes sure what you're ordering has ingredients you like, answers every question and makes you feel like a VIP customer every single time you go there. Crab rangoon and the hero roll 100/10. This restaurant does not get the public it deserves!!
