We stopped here passing thru North Carolina. If you’ve ever wanted to support a black owned business with great food this is the place! Jill and the trainee was extremely nice & didn’t disturb us as much as some servers can. We tried a little bit of everything. My fav was the soul rolls. I would recommend turning down the music during early afternoon hours but after the mimosa flight you’re enjoying the music
Firstly, shout out to the guy they have running food. He doesn’t really speak unless asking what food item goes to who, but i always see him working hard! Food is good for the most part. It’s the service that needs a lot of work. It seems like if you’re not giving the staff attention, they don’t give you the best service. This is a restaurant, not a club with bottle service, so each customer should be treated the same. No table should have to wait 30 min - 1 hr to get...
Went here and thoroughly enjoyed my time. Didn’t have any food from here so I can’t comment on that part, but as far as drinks I got what I ordered and was satisfied. The energy of the place the night I went was through the roof, so expect to have a good time when you go.
