My only complaint would be that it's a few arcade games that do not work. But besides that, fair drink prices. I have not tried the pizzas, but it looks ?. Great places to take the kid during the daylight hours to get a drink and also to spend some time with them in a fun space.

We had a company event here with karaoke and had an absolute blast. Plenty of fun on various video games and lots of singing.Kid-friendliness: This place has video games but it is an adult experience. Definitely a leave the kids at home if you come in the evening

A fun place for the family during the day. I'm glad we have a fun arcade for everyone to enjoy! My kid loves this place and we're always happy to take him there. Pizza is good and I like all the renovations they've made.

I’d never go back to boxcar after my experience. I went for the first time on my birthday, everything was fine until the staff started accusing me of using a fraudulent ID to swipe in my friend. The staff member swiping in ID’s scanned my friends ID, took a picture of me, then scanned my ID and took another picture of me. My friends ID was expired and they didn’t let her in, so she left (the staff scanning ID’s WATCHED her leave). After I got inside, security found me to review my ID again, let me go and apologized for the “confusion”, then came back with more security to escort me back to the front to review my ID again. They claimed the photos on both ID’s scanned in were me but the names didn’t match. I asked to see the ID’s/ photos they were referring to and I pointed out that the photos on the ID’s are two different people, and the staff member took a photo of me twice by mistake, and that’s where the accusations started. I don’t understand why the staff swiping ID’s continued to go with the narrative of me using a fraudulent ID rather than just admitting their mistake. I get people make mistakes sometimes, but it was very irritating how they went about it. I don’t appreciate being accused of using a fraudulent ID when they are the ones who made a mistake. After that, I wasn’t comfortable being there anymore so I just left. Security did apologize for all the back and forth at the end and that was appreciated, but I didn’t get an apology or acknowledge from the staff that actually caused the situation. I did plan something else to celebrate my birthday but that was not the kind of night I was expecting to have.

I'm here visiting a friend and Boxcar was on the list of places to go. Unfortunately...it was definitely not a vibe and the crowd was not it. Nothing but a bunch of rift raft walking around with champagne bottles trying to look cool. We ate our pizza (was ok), played a few games and got out of there. In other words...if you have kids, stay away from this place on Sundays!!!

I’ve been going to box car for 2 years. Never had myself or my military friend treated like this. Just because you hire new security and personnel (which we were told by a bartender that works there). He called the new team out on taking a personnel item and they denied they never got it. Once he started telling them he would report them they then gave him the hydro flask then kicked him out. This is absolutely disgusting by a business and I never thought in my life I would experience a veteran getting treated in such a manner atThis place.
Good atmosphere. Lots of good games. Food was great. Staff were friendly. Wife and kids had a blast.

I want to thank the security that was working on Sunday March 10, 2024. We had left and realized my niece had left her phone. We went back I gave them my phone with her location and they were able to track her phone down with my phone with the location services. We were very appreciative for the job they did. Thank you to the guys working and the bartenders as they looked in the lost in found.

I have been here multiple times since they opened years ago. Since then, they've grown in games, food, events. They do a great job here. It can get crowded but it's spacious. If a machine eats your coins let them know and they'll reimburse you. Great service here! I've been in their private event space for a wedding and it was very nice, I would use their space for an event after seeing how well it was executed here. Pizza is excellent as well. One of my favorite places to go in downtown!
