My parents and I eat at Captain Bills often because we love fried seafood and are never disappointed!!! The food is always delicious and plentiful…. The service is always great. It’s a tremendous value and that’s why it’s been a favorite for over 40 years! Thank you!

I went to this restaurant and my charges came to $56 and I was totally disappointed in the food the baked potato was burnt how do you burn a baked potato on top of not having any butter or sour cream for the baked potato gave me 100 packs of ketchup and I didn't have one order of fries this was just a terribly disappointing experience not what I would want to do again

I grew up in Alabama, on Gulf Coast seafood. I have had some of the best seafood and some of the worst. Captain Bill's is honestly in the top 3 seafood restaurants that I have EVER had. It is fresh, well cooked, and well seasoned (because let's be honest - if you ain't sneezing, it ain't seasoned).

My husband got some to bring home one nigh, and even though it wasn't fresh out of the oven when he got home, it was still warm and delicious. We got the Captain's platter that had a little bit of everything. It was so big that my husband and I shared i, and there were still leftovers. When we rewarmed it the next day, we put it in our air fryer for about 4 minute, and it was crispy and still delicious.

According to my husband, staff was incredibly nice, prompt, and got food from the window to the table quickly. He went on a Saturday night around5 p.m., and he said they were bus, but there were more than enough servers to help. No table seemed to be impatiently waitin, and the drinks were full. He also said that he was impressed with the fact that the tables were cleaned and ready for the next guests pretty quickly. There weren't table sitting with empty plates or drink cups. The staff was about efficient service while creating a ln atmosphere where the guests felt comfortable.

From everything my husband saw and the quality of the food, it's easy to say that Captain Bill's puts emphasis on good food, well cooked, well trained and considerate staff, and putting out a product that is as close to sublime as you can get. This is a reflection on the staff, the management, and the owners. It's good to know that when I want some of the best seafood around, it's about 10-15 minutes away (depending on who's driving - me or my husband). Captain Bill's is definitely the closest I can happily get to Gulf Coast seafood without taking a special trip back hom, and I will absolutely be a repeat customer.

Parking: Standard parking lot, but it's well maintained and easy to navigate. Spaces are big enough for my husband's big truck and my Mom-mobile Suburban. It's well lit, good signage, and the travel lanes are wide enough so you don't feel like you're playing bumper cars with each other while passing.

I rather enjoyed the seafood here. It's some of the better fried seafood I've had around here other than Mayflower which is just a chain restaurant. The person who greeted me was also awfully nice. I had the shrimp plate. The shrimp was tasty as well hushpuppies and okra. Their fries are terrible. Hate to say it, but they are dry, hard, and need some more salt. I'm sure based on what I've had here, everything else more than likely is worth trying, fries just defintely aren't their shining point. It's worth a try and they also have specials for those concerned about the prices, but it's seafood which doesn't tend to be cheap.

I recently dined at Captain Bill's in Greensboro, North Carolina, and it was a fantastic experience! I ordered the fish flounder, giant shrimp, and fried oysters, paired with sides of fried zucchini and baked potatoes, along with an iced sea tea. Every dish was absolutely delicious, showcasing fresh and flavorful seafood.

The restaurant boasts a big parking lot, making it convenient for guests. The location is also impeccably clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend Captain Bill's for anyone craving a delightful seafood meal in a welcoming atmosphere!

Well I got there about 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. There was two other tables taken in the whole place so they was not busy. I sat down, looked at the menu and was astounded by the prices. They're a little overpriced so I got the popcorn. Shrimp came with a side salad and I got a baked potato to go with it and a glass of water. I asked for the shrimp to be cooked a little extra but when it came out I didn't really look that close. Started putting my cocktail sauce down on it. Well the first shrimp I picked up was barely warm. The grease was embedded all through the crust. It was not cooked entirely. The baked potato was hard. Waitress asked if she could send it back but I'd already put my stuff on it, the cocktail sauce and all. So I said no that's okay but it's well overpriced for the portion that you get. The best part of the meal was the salad, the hush puppies and the water I probably will not go back.
