My husband and I stopped by Archdale Friday night out of nostalgia and we used to be regulars but don't go out much anymore. I loved the Spicy Chicken sandwich so tried it again with hot chips. The waitress asked me how I wanted the chips cooked, crispy or soft and I said somewhere in between. They came out hard as bricks. They must have also changed the mild sauce because it was sour. My husband got a Fall burger, can't remember the name but it had pico and avocado on it. The waitress brings out a plain burger with pico on it and said oh they're out of avocados do you want something else. He said fine, I'll do the cowboy burger and she asked could they use the same patty. I was shocked but he said fine but leave the pico, it should be interesting. She came back with the remade burger with the pico off. So they basically scraped the burger off and slapped new stuff on it. We were hungry so we're just like let's eat and go. I'm eating a spicy chicken mind you and there's no refills, waitress isn't even looking at us and she had 3 tables max. I eventually got up, went to the counter and asked for my own refill. This whole disaster was 38 bucks and I even left a 7 dollar tip for poor service. This was a treat for us, but we won't be doing it again.

I ordered here for the first time today as I usually go to Jake’s diner but this location is actually closer to my home. I will never go here again. I got an omelet where most my omelet was undercooked even the hash browns. I got cheese on my omelet in which they put on top of parchment paper so all my cheese stuck to it and came right off. I’m not sure why my moisture omelet was placed on parchments paper as it will get soggy and get into my food. The only thing I could eat was the toast as they only offer grits as a side, in which I do not eat, having oatmeal as an option would be nice. I was looking forward to a good breakfast to start my morning as I have to travel an hour for work and this ruined it. Do not eat here !

This was our second stop after Waffle House was a bust for take out only. Best thing to ever happen!
Breakfast served all day but the dinner meals looked tasty as well. We were craving a classic diner breakfast and this hit all the marks. Excellent service, no sticky tables or trash on the floor, and good value mean we will absolutely be returning.
Pro tip: get a biscuit with sausage gravy and pour the leftover gravy on top of their crispy tater tots. Can’t go wrong.
So pleased with our first visit to Carolina’s Diner!

Chapstick fell out of my pocket, cute waitress ran all the way down the adjacent corridor to return it. That's service.
My kids are grown. But I took my great niece. We came for brunch and to have a tea party, even as they were busy the staff went above and beyond to assist us in our (ice tea) tea party in the coffee mugs. This is a fabulous place. Made good by the food and prices but made amazingly wonderful by the staff.
Although everyone around us was served fast (the way people want it), the staff let us take our time with the tea party, as we had tea, talked and played on my tablet, before giving us our food. (Blueberry waffles for her and a grilled BLT for me.)
I am a regular customer and have loved coming here for years, but what they did, on a holiday weekend, to make my (dressed up) great niece feel so special was more than anyone could ask.
Not to mention the "works" chocolate sundaes we had.
Parking: Shares parking lot with other businesses at some points in the day it can be difficult

Cozy diner tucked in the back of Quaker Village Shopping Center. We stopped for a to-go order when the power was out The pancakes and waffles cooking smelled soo good. We got Dinermate #1 and #4. My teens were extremely pleased with a warm steamy breakfast, almost enough to share. Come on now they're teenagers. Service fast and friendly. Food was ready in 10 mins and we were on our way shopping through the rain back to our car. Thank you for being open for a warm breakfast to-go.

This was the second week in a row I dined in and received the wrong order!!! Manager never came by the table both times, and was still charged for the wrong order. As a retired Regional manager for a corporate restaurant, I find this very disturbing. I unfortunately will not return.
