I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in a store in my life than I did at Cold Stone Creamery. I walked in with my husband to celebrate his birthday, and we ordered ice cream—he got cotton candy with Oreo pieces, and I ordered a small Oreo shake. When I got my shake, it tasted more like whipped cream and Oreos than actual vanilla ice cream, so I politely asked for a different one. To my surprise, they refused to remake it. When I asked for the manager, they said they’d have to call the owner, and that’s when things went downhill.
The owner spoke to me on the phone, and I felt completely uncomfortable, having to repeat myself over and over again. I was flustered and frustrated, just wanting a refund and to leave. But they refused to give me my money back. The owner insisted that I should have chosen something I would like, even though I chose something I usually enjoy (Oreo shakes).
Honestly, it’s probably a good thing the owner doesn’t work directly with customers because I can’t imagine anyone wanting to deal with him. The staff seemed terrified of him, too, clearly nervous about even calling him. In the end, I didn’t get my refund, so I had to dispute the charge with my bank. This was a truly terrible experience, and we will never be returning, as my husband certainly did not appreciate how i was treated and made to feel as well.
The burn crumbs from the waffle iron is ruining my appetite
Delicious ice cream!
I got the sweet cream flavored ice-cream with chocolate brownie added in.
It definitely hit the spot!

I ordered a medium ice cream and it was only filled 3/4 of the way. So I basically paid a higher price for a small size ice cream. If people are paying $8 for an ice cream, you should make it worth the price.

Went there yesterday. There were two ladies working one younger and one older. The older one carried herself as she was management. The younger lady was nice and went above and beyond even making a shake they didn’t even offer. The older lady had absolutely no manners. No p’s and q’s, everytime I asked her for anything she would act as if it was an inconvenience. No smile or anything. How do you guys hire people like that? First and last time going to this location.

Terrible service. The young lady rolled her eyes when I asked for a sample. The young gentleman didn’t appear to be helpful. Zero customer service. I mustered the urge not to request a refund but I was so unhappy that I just couldn’t eat it because it was prepared by hands that didn’t want to serve. I hope those kids go to college because they will need it. To be so young and lifeless is blasphemous. I have never been so angry with food service in my life!!! The young manger was respectful and kind and stated that he needed to call the owner. I spoke to the owner who asked what happened and told him verbatim. Instead of apologizing, he stated that he would run the cameras. Just Terrible. There wasn’t any dialogue, it was ENERGY! Anyone with a brain knows when someone doesn’t want to serve!!! The owner should have apologized and given me a refund. I told him to keep the $15 bucks. It wasn’t about the $, but the principle. I will never return and would encourage others to visit the COLD STONE & CREAMERY (hope I spelled that correctly) off of New Garden, which is near my home. I just so happened to be out shopping and saw this location. Very nice location by the way. My recommendation would be a re-training on customer service with all staff. So needed.

I have been to the establishment. Both times with the same staff. Today on 10/03/2023 i went around 8:30 pm and the service was just as bad as the first visit. Slow to take care of us and we’re having to ask for lids and utensils when that is standard. We ordered love it sizes and paid for love it sizes but the girl gave my gf the size underneath the correct size. And she also had an attitude. Really the entire staff was nonchalant and uninviting. I shouldnt have to ask for a lid to cover the ice cream and I definitely should not have to ask for a straw for a shake. The business was not busy and even if it were packed, the establishment is setup to where you should be dealing with the customers in a manner where they are taken care of before you run back over to people who are still in line. The ice cream is great though, just a horrible staff for your evenings.

Very clean and good ice cream. And the workers are very nice people. Recommend this Coldstone!
Bro and I loved our choices. JUST right. We both got minis but a smaller size would be nice for children because he didn’t finish. Perhaps I overlooked it?
Very busy and understaffed. Remember the friendly and welcoming staff? Yeah, me either....
Friendly, quick service. However shop is in need of a good deep clean.
The workers were very friendly and polite. They kept a smile on their faces. Didn't have to wait long to get served. I love going there. The ice cream was delicious.
