Transparency is always on the menu with me. Aki saltfish!!! WHAT MORE CAN I SAY OTHER THAN ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS? Customer service here.... not so good. But I believe it's a cultural thing. They're not rude but in my experience, just not great customer service. Atmosphere not so good. The parking is horrible. But back to the Aki saltfish, ORDER IT. This is my third visit. Twice I got food to go and today I ate in. The jerk chicken is about the best I have ever had! Peas and Rice are very good and the cabbage was cooked perfectly! I have had the Boston Jerk Pork and did not care much for it because I was expecting Boston butt pork and not sliced pork Tenderloin. The Jerk Wings were good. Over all...4 stars...but I am giving them 5 because they are being authentic to JAMAICAN food.

After searching for a nice Caribbean restaurant to eat at, I was pleased to have found this particular place after trying several other Caribbean spots in the area that were not so pleasing. I ordered the oxtail meal but did not care for the cabbage, but everything else was great. The oxtails were amazing and had the flavor profile that I was used to. I have been ordering from DRC for a few months now, and if there is something I would recommend, it is that they get more organized. They tend to be all over the place and mix up orders. I would also like to see them more personable with customers. It would be nice if they were to open the other side or enlarge, if possible, the waiting area because it's a hassle at times having to wait in your car until you receive a phone call stating your order is ready. There have been times I did not receive a call and just went back inside the establishment to check for myself. Irrespective of the latter part of this review, I definitely recommend DRC, and they will have my continued support as a customer.
