I never leave reviews, however I stopped in at da reggae Cafe restaurant tonight. I placed my order and while I waited the cashier that tok my order started cleaning, wiping the counters , phone, computer, etc with a blue rag. I think wow that's good at least they are cleaning " NO GLOVES" mind you. Well when my order came up she checked my ticket my cake wasn't in there. She said hold on let me get your cake I said ok while I'm thinking I sure hope she washes her hands well she started to prepare to get my cake so I Politely ask can you please wash your hands or put on some gloves? She got really nasty, and angry because of my request. She replied with such attitude and a nasty disposition. She said her hands were clean when she was cleaning with the rag and that her hands not touching my cake. ? Everybody knows rags hold bacteria. Mind you she is cutting my cake. Then I remembered why I stopped ordering from them 10 years ago when they was down the street in the tiny parking lot. I'm think who gets mad about a request of please wash your hands. That is why people get sick from restaurants. In short refund my money. Food is good her attitude and customer service still needs work. I won't be back.

The employees here are always rude to people that are not like them. A guy called and said your order is ready and before I can say anything he slammed the phone down. The women at the desk have a very sassy attitude especially towards women outside of their race. However they didn't mind smiling in the men face. Good customer service is hard to find. They have bad communication skills, yelling when you ask questions, and acting as if they don't want to take your order and they don't have to. You should be respectful to those who are supporting your business and taking care of you. If you can't be respectful of your customers, then why move in our neighborhoods and provide horrible service but want our money. Everyone should be treated with respect especially when you're in our community and home. We need to pay attention where we put our money and stop supporting those who treat us in this manner.

Delicious food! Ordered for pickup through Door Dash. Had to wait upon arrival due to the patties cooking but I didn't mind that at all.

This store is terrible. They treat door dashers like crap so if you order here don’t expect your food anytime soon. Restaurant also seemed very dirty.

Food is good. If you're going close to when they open at 11am, expect a wait up to 1hr depending on what you order. If you go later 2-3 hours after opening, the wait is short

The jerk chicken is a standout, with its perfectly seasoned, smoky flavor that will have your taste buds dancing. The rice and peas are a classic side dish that complements the main course perfectly. And don't forget to try the plantains - they're sweet, savory, and oh-so-satisfying.

I got the jerk chicken plate and a side of oxtail and it was good but had issues.
Jerk chicken and rice and peas were DELICIOUS!!! I mean so good, they even give you extra jerk sauce for free. The weak parts of my order were by far the Cabbage (unseasoned and a little crunchy) and the oxtail(weren't trimmed and were tough) if they'd cook both items for a little longer id give 5 stars for the entire meal. The oxtail needed another 30-45mins then they'd be fall off the bone perfection. They also give you lots of oxtail gravy when you order them as a side.
Overall, if they fix both the unseasoned cabbage and untrimmed tough oxtail I'd be back in a heartbeat!
