This place used to be really good. But recently we ordered to go and they were beyond awful. Bulgogi was overly sweet, and tonkatsu was so dry and flat, my soup tastes like it was made with the premade package. Not to mention the portion size was so ridiculously small we were all hungry after spending average of $20 per person. Not sure what happened but I am so disappointed and I don’t think I’ll be back for a while.

I’ve given this place multiple chances, but the issue is that I cannot overlook the service. I’ve visited three times in the past year and once recently this week, and each time the service has gotten worse. While the food is enjoyable, it does not make up for the poor attitude from the staff. Every server I’ve interacted with has been unwelcoming and rude, which creates a very disappointing environment. I truly hope management or owners addresses this, because this place could be much better with friendly employees/servers at the front. I wish them good luck but we will not be coming back.

Absolutely delightful little hidden gem in a large strip mall! Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by a very nice young lady who seated us! The atmosphere was nice, very cozy, and quiet, though it wasn't very busy at the time. They started us off with a wonderful array of tiny, but shareable dishes, some of which I'd never tried before anywhere!? Though one or two were a little bit too spicy for me, they were ALL delicious!😋 For my entree, I ordered the Katsu (breaded pork cutlet) and my sister ordered the Bibimbop. We were BOTH very satisfied with our choices of entrees & enjoyed just being present with each other. We're very committed to eating at Danji again!!!😋❤️ Can't wait to try something different next time!! If you're in or around the Greensboro area, do yourself a favor, try DANJI for yourself!! You won't be disappointed!!🥰

I am only giving it 2 stars because of the Seaweed packet she brought out. THIS IS NOT AUTHENTIC KOREAN!!! Who puts lettuce and whole broccoli in a hot bibimbop pot? And the egg should not be cooked hard. The Seafood Soondubu was tasteless and there was mismatched sized shrimp with celery? When you walk in, Mexican music is playing. I am so confused!!! Will not be returning!!!!
They started us off with the banchan: 6 complementary side dishes that presented a range of flavors and textures. I think they vary with the seasons too so it something different each visit. We got the seafood pajeon, a savory scallion pancake filled with generous amounts of seafood and vegetables. Delicious! Finally, we got the jokbal, which is braised pig trotters slow-cooked in seasoning. Tender and succulent, hopefully the collagen will better my skin.

Yelled, SCREAMED, SHOUTED, at me and my mother to get out of the restaurant after getting drunk with his friend. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE been treated this way before entering a restaurant— being so for real with everyone, we didn’t do ANYTHING, that is why we are shocked: kicked out at 5:30pm June 7th, 2025. Close down this establishment, you don’t deserve this.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I need to share my experience. We ordered jajangmyeon and kimchi fried rice. The kimchi fried rice was too oily, and the jajangmyeon was bland. The utensils were dirty, and my water mug was broken. The server was friendly, but the food and cleanliness need significant improvement
