During my memorable time in Greensboro in 2006, I became a regular at Doggone's hot dog stand that stood out among the many food options in the area. My love of a good Carolina slaw dog grilling on a hot drew me in every chance I got. The moment I took my first bite, I was hooked by flavors and the simplicity of the hot dogs —it was, without a doubt, the best hot dog I’ve ever had.
Since moving away from Greensboro, I’ve often found myself reminiscing about those dang hotdogs, wondering if the beloved stand was still open for business on Randleman Road. To my surprise I’ve recently learned that it continues to serve its delicious hot dogs! As I prepare for my visit back to Greensboro this coming May, I can hardly contain my excitement at the thought of revisiting that hot dog stand. I plan to indulge in at least a couple of those mouthwatering dogs—maybe even three or four, depending on how tempted I am, lol! The anticipation of enjoying those iconic hot dogs again brings a smile to my face.

So many different items but THE HOT DOGS! The best I’ve ever eatin!!! I don’t know if they’re open still cause I haven’t been able to locate them since moving back but I WISH I KNEW WHERE THEY WERE IF THERE STILL DOING BUSINESS… making my mouth water just thinking about it!

The shrimp meal is very delicious. The shrimp were succulent and the size is amazing. I literally ate from this one plate 4 times. Very fulfilling.
