The owner is a down to earth good guy. I really loved the garlic knots. They were fresh tasting. The calzone was very good. I ordered how I wanted it and it was cheesy and fresh. No hard, I ercooked bread here. My husband enjoyed his wings as well. The portions was a good size as well. I had leftovers. Popped them in the oven and the food came out tasting the same. Prices are very reasonable as well. Check them out! You'll enjoy it.

My first time eating here! Had my daughter pick up the food. The chicken was sooo hard you could hardly bite it. Pizza crust was hard and tough. I was SO disappointed with this place. If I could do a half ⭐ I would. I was excited to try their food! BIG let down ?? ??

My wife & I have tried many pizzas in North Carolina— Pizza Hut, Marco’s, Papa John’s, Domino’s, Crossroads Market in Mocksville, & La Vita Bella in Mocksville before it closed— but THIS IS OUR FAVORITE. We live an hour from Greensboro, but it’s worth the drive to eat Don Gala’s pizza!

The crust is about average thickness (think Papa’s Johns), not super thin or super thick & doughy, & PERFECTLY crispy. We ate at Don Gala’s with three other people & EVERYONE enjoyed it. We ordered 2 pizzas, one with cheese & another pepperoni-mushroom. Both tasted delicious, though they were a bit greasy on top.

Since it was our first time there, the employees even gave us an order of garlic knots on the house! They tasted flavorful, & the texture was great too— crispy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside.

It’s a small, intimate pizzeria with a mini pool table on the bottom floor of a dorm building. It’s near UNC Greensboro.

I have never had wanted to say something bad about this place the food is amazing and I usually never have to wait super long.

I waited about 30 minutes tonight for my order. I went back to the counter after about 20 minutes and after two people after me received there orders. I told the girl running the register she looked for my order and it was no where’s to be found. She had to reprint it. When I got back to my dorm I noticed I didn’t even receive the full order. I ordered the tender platter and added a drink. But I didn’t receive all my tenders paid almost $20 too. Never once has that happened before.

The Roni Hot Honey at Don Gala is exceptional; it’s my go to order every time. It’s the perfect comfort food after a long day.

The owner is outstanding, consistently welcoming to guests and actively supporting the community. We need more individuals like him.

They even have a mini pool table and great music.

First of all the food is so good. I’m a sophomore and I’ve been coming back since my freshman year. Second the music is amazing. They put me on to so many new songs every time I come, and I love the awesome friendly atmosphere and the relationship between the workers.
