Disappointment! I have been a customer at the 2 locations for years, but the donuts have shrunk considerably and the price is insane for the size. They also always taste old. They definitely aren't making them fresh daily. Dont know if the family that owned the one on Battleground years ago sold or what, but I have noticed a huge difference in quality and now, they have shrunk the donuts and raised the prices. Lost another store to shrinkflation and greed. RIP Donut World. Won't be back.

Called ahead to see if they had real bear claws (real ones are made with almond paste while fake are made with apple pie filling) and the person on the phone was just plain rude. FYI, they are fake bear claws.

I cannot lie, I am a Krispy Kreme guy all the way back to my childhood, BUT! Donut World is not even in the same category as the national brands. These folks do it right and serve up delicious and fresh donuts, bear claws (nom nom), cinnamon rolls as big as your face, and much more. Everything is beyond tasty, but my favorites are the Sugar Raised donut, the bear claws. And the cinnamon rolls. You simply must try these cats.
One of my fav spots to get treats for the office. Always pleasant employees and great doughnuts, and they open LONG before Duck doughnuts (Just a quick poke because Duck doesn't open until 8 😒) even so... I prefer Donut World over any other in Greensboro.
