I cannot lie, I am a Krispy Kreme guy all the way back to my childhood, BUT! Donut World is not even in the same category as the national brands. These folks do it right and serve up delicious and fresh donuts, bear claws (nom nom), cinnamon rolls as big as your face, and much more. Everything is beyond tasty, but my favorites are the Sugar Raised donut, the bear claws. And the cinnamon rolls. You simply must try these cats.
One of my fav spots to get treats for the office. Always pleasant employees and great doughnuts, and they open LONG before Duck doughnuts (Just a quick poke because Duck doesn't open until 8 😒) even so... I prefer Donut World over any other in Greensboro.

The apple fritters are second to none. You have to get them early in the morning as they sell out quick. I often call ahead or show up at opening to not miss out.
Get more than one. Get five.
