(Originally 4/5 stars) Coffee is amazing per usual but please, the 2 cups stack together cause my drink to keep spilling all over me while im trying to figure out why it’s leaking. If it’s stuck together just throw it away and use a singular cup if it’s hard to take apart. (Coming from a former barista). $8 for coffee and it kept spilling and having to take the lid off just to take a sip is no bueno. Sipping experience 3/10. Coffee 9/10 again 👍🏼.
Update. Oct 5. Was a 4 star prior to this but had enough. Not really good customers services and without and greeting but it’s fine. As long as the coffee is good right? Nope. Latte was terrible and tasted like a americano. Very inconsistent and no idea on how to make a salted caramel large latte. I’m tired of spending 8 dollars for something that’s very inconsistent in my recent visits there. You can even tell the inconsistency even by the color of how it’s made. Had to go to another coffee shop just to order something else just cause the customer services is below subpar. Terrible terrible experience all around.

Very charming and knowledgeable staff, easy to talk to. It's honestly an escape from outside, all the downtown noise doesn't reach and the lighting is dim and comforting. I will say though the bathroom could use some work.... But other than that I have zero complaints, frequent customer now.

Discovered this spot accidentally, but so glad I did! Cutest/coziest inside space with fun vintage furniture and decor, loved the outside space with multiple areas, and their signature coffees are named after famous movie stars.
Finally, a coffee shop with some soul. Common Grounds has a killer punk rock vibe and amazing coffee to match. The Bill Murray iced coffee is absolutely delicious. The staff is awesome and the atmosphere is a breath of fresh air. This is the real deal.

Best coffee in the Boro. And you are not going to beat the outside space

Stop going to Starbucks and do local coffee instead!!! I’ve switched and Im so happy I did. I’m obsessed with their coffee and service. I’ve started stopping by right before my shifts. The Leo is my favorite. I have no idea what liquid gold they put in it to make it taste so good (Honey and Vanilla). There is rarely ever a wait and they make my drink in seconds! Definitely recommend!!

I needed a bit of energy from a very long last three weeks, so I decided to try this place and get a coffee. I got the chocolate and banana one, ( I forgot the name of it) but it was delicious and got me through my day. The young lady was helpful although I didn’t take her recommendation, she guided me through the menu without an attitude. I will return to try another one soon. Good job.

The vibe at this coffee shop was great! There was nice lighting, vintage decor, and a relaxed atmosphere. The barista was very helpful and patient, especially since I was looking for sugar-free options. I also loved the outdoor seating option!
