We had a company meeting at Finial last night. We were seated and waited 20 minutes for someone to come to wait on us. The hostess walked by and I asked her if we had a waitress. The waitress came and took our drink order and it took another 20 minutes to get those, then she took our food orders and it was another 30 minutes. I got the filet with whipped potatoes and greens. The filet was good, however, the potatoes were dry and sticky and the greens were cold. It was a sub par meal and the service was awful. We waited and waited on someone to bring our check and then eventually just got up and went to the bar and the waitress came looking for us with the check. Very disappointed. This has been our go to spot for several years and I am not sure we will be returning.
Excellent food prep but the service did not match the caliber of the menu nor the expectation of The Finial
Delicious Chilean Sea Bass, and nice strong martini. Wonderful waiter, Nick, made my crème brûlée free since it came to the table late. It was fabulous!
Food was excellent. Highly recommend the cornbread. Service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere left something to be desired for an upscale hotel restaurant. Overall it was a solid meal
Our server Patrick was outstanding. Food was excellent. All houses were served at appropriate time.
Had a 7pm reservation, drinks came in a timely fashion. Ordered appetizer and was told they were out of cauliflower, yet 25 min later when the app showed, low and behild there was cauliflower...lol. ordered salads and dinner, and asked to have our granddaughters grilled cheese and fruit brought early. Salads came, mediocre at best. Still no grilled cheese. Mentioned to our waiter, and his quick response was I will get a manager. The manager came and said entrée orders were put in 14 min ago...granted it takes all of 3 minutes to make a grilled cheese. Food on the plate did not match the description for the salmon risotto or the sea bass. The quality of food was good, but sad to say we were very disappointed for a nice dinner with our granddaughter.
Fried Chicken breast with honey glazed and mixed greens bacon jam sauce. I would have appreciated more greens than I received . They ere delicious however , I don't eat pork and needed to eat around them. ✅
Did not disappoint.Excellent cuisine .. Plenty of food for both the land and sea lover. Staff is pleasurable and knowledgeable. High quality all around. Expensive
Excellent menu. We all loved our meals. Perfect restaurant for a celebration. We also enjoyed our breakfast the previous morning.
My experience at Finial at Grandover was memorable. The food was exceptionally delicious. While the service could have been more efficient, the overall quality and atmosphere more than compensated for it.

Had three meals here during recent two night stay. It's a really lovely space, lots of natural light, interesting relatively vast menu. The service and pace is the biggest issue, it's either really warm and efficient or really slow and embarrassingly clumsy. When the server, food and drinks come, it's darn good—the steak and fish especially, well made dry martini and nice wine list. But at NYC prices closer to impeccable service is expected. The reality however is there no real alternatives for a guest looking to have a nice get away without having to drive off property. So it is what it is, like it or not 🤷🏻♂️
We all loved our food! A delicious take on Southern cuisine in a lovely atmosphere. Absolutely wouod recommend. Do get the Crab Cake Beignets!
Overrated & The worst experience ever. Tasteless food, rude staff from the bartender to the waitress never again
Service began pretty slowly but improved a little. Server was polite but not overtly friendly. We also saw other staff walking around like they were just hating being there so that was a downer. The menu selection was excellent and the food did not disappoint; it was so very good.
This was a very unfortunate visit. Everything that could go wrong did. Party of 8 sat for 15+ minutes before being acknowledged. Drink orders took another 15 because they "ran out of wine glasses". Placed appetizer order and then waited over 1 hour for only half to arrive (after we alerted waitstaff of no food). This food was presented poorly and cold. Main courses showed up and food was subpar at best plus salmon was basically raw (ordered medium) Our reservation was 715 and we did not leave until after 945 ( also most in party will still hungry) This was a business meeting and this experience left was very embarrising considering the expectations that we had for this evening
