I had a delightful experience at my first Sunday brunch here! The atmosphere was fantastic, and I’m already counting down the days until I can return. A huge shoutout to the wonderful Mattie, our server—she was so sweet and attentive, making our meal even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back for another amazing brunch!

Service charge is a no go for me when dining— if I had known, I would’ve ate elsewhere. Restaurants dont acknowledge you of this. 15% service fee was applied to our check for a table of 4 with no alcohol. When alcohol was ordered, it was not received throughout the dinner or presented on the check. That was an honest mistake but notable to mention. Besides the random fee, the food was phenomenal. We ordered the jerk chicken egg rolls and spinach dip for appetizers, they did not disappoint! All our entrees were cooked perfectly with the perfect amount of seasoning. Portions were reasonable for the price and experience. Beautiful interior design. It can be pretty loud inside but I believe that is the vibe of the spot.

First time experience, our server was really nice, the atmosphere was good, great music. The drinks & food tasted really good. We only think there can be some improvement with presentation when it comes to utensils,
Plates, since is a luxury lounge having plastic forks & plates didn’t quite match the vibe but otherwise everything else was good.

My party and I (of 5 people total) had a 2pm reservation. We arrived to the restaurant around 1:45pm to a line of people out the door who also had reservations. At this point, we could tell that they were backed up, but we were never told this or notified from any member of the staff. We waited around an hour to be seated, without anyone greeting us or making sure we had arrived or anything. Waited for over an hour to be seated.
Once we were seated, We noticed that people after us receive their drinks before we did. It took around 30 minutes for us to receive water, while it took an additional 20 minutes to get water refills upon request.
Our food order was taken when we sat, which was at 3:15 or so (over a hour after our reservation time). We did not get food until 4:15/4:30, in which our sides came out before our main course. Our main courses was also cold. I was offered a fresh new plate, however it never arrived until we had already paid and were walking out the door (to which i respectfully declined). Our waiter never came back to check on us during the long waiting time as well.

With all of this, we asked for a manager to speak to - in which the owner came to hear our complaints. We were offered free shots - in which we only received 3 shots, and we were an apart of 5 people all sitting together (were we suppose to share the shots?). Needless to say we did not drink those shots. They however were “generous” enough to give us a discount - however it was a total of $4.17 off my check, while one of the people at the table’s discount was $1.70.

Overall, it was a horrible experience. Only 1 staff member was actually very sweet and kind, I wish I would’ve gotten his name. The tables beside us and all throughout the restaurant had complaints as well. 0/10, would not recommend.

I want to start this review off by saying that the level of unprofessionalism that I just endured is absolutely crazy. My friends and I made reservations for the restaurant weeks ago. We arrived at 2:00PM (the time of our reservation) just for it to be a line outside. Everyone that was standing in the line had reservations as well. So after waiting for 40 minutes we were seated.

Once seated our waitress came up to the table and essentially said they were going to have to wait on drinks due to there being no clean glasses. We agreed and placed our order for food and let her know what we wanted to drink so that we could get them once there were clean glasses. It took them forever to bring us anything to drink and once we got our drinks we barely got refills.

Now onto the food situation. It is important to know that I and I alone received my egg rolls before anybody at my table received any of their food. After speaking with the manager she said that the egg rolls are essentially appetizers. Which is not indicated anywhere on the menu. My friend received her potatoes and bacon before her main food was brought out. When I say that the food didn’t come out nearly at the same time I mean that my egg rolls were on the table 1 hour before anybody else got their food. They also don’t seem to have a system to bringing things out because things are often forgotten.

Time situation: As indicated in the beginning we showed up at 2 and did not leave until 4:50pm. Two hours and 50 minutes for cold waffles, cold sides, non refilled drinks. However, I am not the only person who complained. There were so many people complaining about the service. Including tables who got up and left.

You are probably wondering if I spoke to a manager. Yes I did. They gave me around $7 off a $70 bill and then put gratuity on the bill. Oh and they gave my party of 5 three shots of house tequila to try and make it better. Which I left on the table. I believe in tipping but I believe in getting what you pay for and to me the service doesn’t match the pricing. You can get a better and cheaper meal at Waffle House.

If you’re looking for tasty comfort food, creative cocktails in an upscale ambiance in Greensboro, this is the place. Nice spot for a fellas or ladies night, or even a date night. Oh and they had a DJ spinnin hip hop and RnB tunes to set the vibes. Highly recommend
