We need more restaurants like this in the Triad! It's good food and it's actually good for you. My biggest complaint is the way they run their operating hours and the fact that they close so early on Friday and Saturday. If you're going to close the dining room 15 minutes before you close, just say that you close 15 minutes early. The times that we've come in later, we felt very rushed to finish our meal because they were cleaning around us before the restaurant actually closed.

7/10. The food was pretty good. Chicken has a nice sauce on it- but I did unfortunately have multiple very fatty pieces. The veggies and rice are very plain and bland but if you add their simply magic sauce they are SO good. You are able to eat inside the restaurant, but I would recommend getting it to go. They are very quick preparing your order- its a chipotle or chopt type preparation. They have 2 bowl sizes: regular and mini. I got a regular and it was very small- i can't imagine how small the mini is. It was also very expensive for the amount of food you get. $12 before tip for this bowl. Overall their food is good and I would recommend giving it a try.
Vegetarian options: They have tofu!

Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly place!!!!

Flame Broiler is a reliable go-to for a nice & quick lunch or dinner. The food is good, not impeccable, but for the price I have to give it 5 stars. It's very consistent, and is very easy to get in and out. I take advantage of the cheaper menu options without add-ons (especially the mini chicken special), so if you need a large bowl, add-ons, or want white meat chicken, the value proposition takes a hit. Up to two sauces are free and I recommend the jalapeno hot sauce. The magic sauce, their signature, is a little too bold & salty for me but then again I'm not the biggest fan of soy sauce. I always take-out but the dining room seems organized and clean. Definitely worth a visit to figure out if this place is for you.
