FIRE FIRE FIRE..THE FOOD HERE IS AMAZING AND WELL COOKED I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN I WALKED IN BUT SERVICE WAS GREAT,ATMOSPHERE CALM AND GOOD ENERGY. IF YOU HAVENT EATEN HERE THIS IS A MUST GO TO SPOT.. DO NOT SKIP THIS PLACE YOU WONT REGRET IT.

Food expensive I spent over $20. Chicken and macaroni & cheese was the only things good. The yams wasn’t cooked all the way, still hard, had too much cinnamon on them and the cabbage tasted straight like vinegar. I was disappointed.

Cool atmosphere to chill and hangout on the weekends. The chicken wings are 🔥🔥🔥🔥

make sure you go Nette at the bar!!!! the honey bourbon wings and chicken philly are the best

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the recent experience Gate City Tavern, I was at the DoubleTree building. On Saturday, I placed an order over the phone and informed the black girl on the phone that I was located at the hotel. Despite knowing that the hotel was not the designated location for pickup, the young lady accepted my payment anyway and confirmed the order. However, when I called back multiple times at 4 PM the same day, my calls were not answered. It has been three days, and I still have not received my order nor refund since I've never gotten nothing , im visiting-here no car so i accidentally called wrong restaurant it was her job to stop me and say no ma'am you’re at the Gate City Sports Bar where your staying instead she says the amount of your order is 25.42. Given the apparent discrepancy, I plan to file a report with the Greensboro Police Department. It’s sad that people are sneaky an dishonest and I can’t believe they stole my money and haven’t even tried to reach me and said ma’am you never got your order or money so please forgive us for this mishap. It’s serious I’m doing a police report.

Good local bar and good food

Good food ,Nice Drinks Be careful on which Day You attend ,Security will charge You if they want to ,charge for parking in front a place charging $10 to at door $5 to get back in Like definitely A Thirsty Thursday for who ever throws those Karaoke Live nights there worried about there Pockets then people actually enjoying the place Food is good thou wish they had DoorDash just wouldn't order on a Thursday they may charge the Dasher !!

This is a great local spot to grab good food and and find a nice drink specials. Forget Happy Hour, every day Gate City has a special with the best fish sandwiches on Tuesday and wing baskets on Thursday. Get the Gate City Sauce or Honey Bourbon!

Yesterday me and my cousin went out to get wings on wing basket wensday. I personally love the environment, everybody singing and carrying along w one another. I proceeded to order drinks for me and a friend. I see Jaz ( lightskin short blonde short hair.) and she taking orders YES! But at the moment I thought she was finish. So I waited approximately 2 mins before I tried to get her attention. Mind you it’s already loud music and I’m soft spoken so I tried to get her attention first time she didn’t hear me ( as if I thought).. the second time I got her attention she turned around rudely and gave me a 👆 finger and said “ I’m still taking a order” w an nasty attitude. Then her and the second bartender decides they go to the kitchen and start talking about how we not tipping anything. I’m not tipping nobody who don’t make me feel welcome in an environment, I’m spending money at. I was once a server and I definitely understand when it comes to respect and disrespect. So no I didn’t feel like I wanted to tip any one of the bartenders. They decided they wanted to take they attitude on me. That’s fine lost one less customer.

It's a very chilled and layed back spot. The food is good the service be good but very busy at times. I love the outside deck to go out and get air and parlay. Music be dope great too!

Bored too me all I seen was line dancing nothing more not my atmosphere at all

They still owe me rice and gravy for my meal the lady in the red outfit got my order I saw that I missed things when I get home that place is a low star from me

Attended an event and decided to grab a bite.
The honey bourbon wings were great.
They had plenty of sauce.

The server Cookie was very patient and helpful.
