I don't believe I've given a 1 star review before. We ordered food for our entire table and as the evening was almost over, the waitress came to our table and told us they had only given us half of the meat we were supposed to get. This was a couple hundred dollars. We asked if we could take the meat home and they said they couldn't send us out with raw meat. They told us they would discount the meal, and then later came back and said they would only discount 10%. At a minimum they should have discounted 30 or 40% just to cover the fact that we only got half the food.

My first time visiting, but it won't be my last! We had a large party of 8 for a birthday. Service was great! Our server was very attentive despite being so busy with us and other tables. Food was amazing ! Lots of variety and of course cooking at the table was a new experience so it added to the delight.

Placed an order to go. Found a dead fly in my soup. It was pretty obvious too. So disgusting and disappointing. I can’t really speak to how the food tastes because I’m not eating anything from this place!

I have dined at this establishment about 4x and the food is great IMO, but the service is lacking. The first visit (and only time) is when I experienced the best service, subsequent visits have been mediocre. The servers are nice, but need to be more attentive.

Title: Perfect Valentine's Day Date Spot!Review:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My boyfriend and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day at Gyu Kaku, and it was the best decision ever! We were intrigued by the concept of cooking our own food, and it turned out to be such a fun and unique experience. There was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it for the food and the experience. We opted for one of the V-day 3 course options and we were blown away by the quality of the meats and ingredients.Cooking our own food on the grill added an interactive element to our date night, and we loved experimenting with different flavors and techniques. The staff was helpful and accommodating.Overall, Gyu Kaku exceeded our expectations in every way. It's the perfect spot for a romantic date night or any special occasion. We can't wait to go back again!

Very disappointed. First visit was a month ago and we had a good experience so we decided to go back. No plan to return. Meat was fatty and you don't get a knife and fork to cut off the excess fat. Not a good value for the money.

I absolutely adore this place and I need to go back (the only problem is the price.) The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive (not American customer service attentive.) I had a large party as well which they didn't seem to mind at all. For the seven of us to eat it was $210 or $30 a person. I highly recommend it.Parking: There isn't much to say. It's a decent sized lot for the restaurant. The lot could hold more cars than the restaurant can seat.

Arrived at 6pm on a Thursday night for dinner, party of 4. We had a reservation but it was not necessary this evening as the place was not booming with business. However this was not unexpected on the night after Valentine's Day. The table ordered one of the package courses. We started with miso soup, then two larger salads. We enjoyed the familiar miso soup. The salad was just okay for us. It had a ice spring mix and good things in the salad but the dressing was unexpected. And while not bad it's wasn't our favorite. We also received two sushi plates and noodles. And the reason you go to a BBQ place.... We got a nice variety of meats. Several different cuts of beef, some pork, chicken and shrimp. When it came to the table it was questionable whether it was enough food for all of us but we all left satisfied. The sauces on the table were good and the dessert s'mores were a fun end to the meal. I enjoyed the thinner meat as it was easiest to cook. However the grill was hot and there was good ventilation so we cooked everything easily. The rice was not included in the price of the course. The kimchee side was good. Overall I enjoyed it and I would go back and try the all you can eat so I could choose the other items I really wanted.

First time here since they started the buffet like Charlotte. Food and service was great. We went during lunch on Sunday so it was great to not have to look for parking. We ate our money's worth. We went with the Supreme Buffet option. I recommend to try all of it.
