This buffet had the most varied selection of food I had been to in a long time. At the time I went (6:15-7:30 PM) the food seemed continually hot and rotated even with the busy crowd.

They have the Best coconut shrimp. The hibachi buffet is great. The food is starting to taste a little different from what it did before. It seems like the restaurant is getting more “Americanized” , instead of sticking with their own international selections and seasonings. But still, an overall great restaurant for the family or for someone who doesn’t know exactly what they want to eat.

As a first time visitor of Ichiban, I anticipated the experience being one to remember, and it was - for the wrong reasons. Firstly, following my party and I being ushered to our booth and having our drink orders taken, our drinking straws were simply just thrown to us onto the table. The buffet was clean for the most part, despite a few of the assumedly clean plates being tainted with small pieces of food and debris from different tongs on the buffet. Our experience was further disrupted when someone in my group noticed and spit out a RUSTY BOLT in one of the food items. We brought the matter to the waitress, which she then proceeded to bring a manager. For such an inconvenience and safety hazard, my colleague was only offered $5 off of her meal. These accommodations were piss poor considering the circumstance, so we demanded that her meal be free, especially as a first time visitor also. To make matters worse, our waitress at times rudely reached over us without saying excuse me, even to the point to where things were spilling off of the dirty plates and onto the table and onto my plate! What I also don't appreciate is that she stared at us at points toward the end of our meal which made us feel rushed to pay and leave. Ultimately, the food was decent and I would return though, the service aspect really has to improve for this establishment to be a family-friendly environment.

Flavors are spot on, so many delicious & diverse choices. Hibachi is great as well. Bathrooms & restaurant areas are clean. They even have plastic gloves for you to wear while getting food, in order to help prevent the spread of illnesses. Need some repairs throughout the restaurant in order to bring this to a 5
