My mom and I hadn’t been to IHOP in ages, but with a little time to spare, we stopped in, and I’m glad we did. Despite being short-staffed, our waiter Michael was incredibly grounded and attentive, making sure we were taken care of with genuine warmth.
The food hit the spot: fluffy pancakes with hot maple syrup (yes, he asked if we preferred it warmed, big win), tender chopped steak cooked medium-well, crisp hashbrowns, and simple eggs. The place was clean, service was kind, and while the AC was freezing (pro tip: bring a light jacket), it was a great experience that reminded us why IHOP’s still a classic.

I ordered just scrambled eggs hashbrowns, bacon toast extra 2 extra sliced bacon and ice tea, plus they have me pancakes I didn’t order. The glasses of tea were served barely half full, the eggs were cold. The check was over $25.00 for just me before tip. What a rip off!!! Terrible food, dismal service ridiculous prices.

The greeter is also the waitress. Her customer service is amazing. However the manager needs a lot of training. Perhaps I'm just pissed off because my husband and I came in and waited ten minutes to be seated. Two minutes prior to the young lady seating us a Caucasian man came in behind us also wanting to dine in. The young lady seated my husband and I first and within 30 seconds seated the other customer as well. Please tell me why after all that time of waiting 5 minutes into being seated the manager emerges from the back and goes straight to the other man's table and takes his order. We were seated at 4:55 a.m. by 5:00 the manager herself was out here taking this gentleman's order meanwhile the waitress didn't make it to our table to take our order until after the gentlemen received his food. 5:14 we placed our order. The food came to us at 5:28. I won't even go there about the woman who wore her apron into to the bathroom. I sent my pancakes back because they were cold and hard to cut with the plastic ware. 5:54am we left and $30 dollars later the the only thing we enjoyed was the hot chocolate and Mylla's pleasant disposition. Why don't they have silverware? I have so many questions. Tell the manager the floor needs to be swept and mopped. I sure she would of seen it if she spent a bit more time in the front of the house. Instead of talking to an employee in the back loud enough for the customers to hear. WORST EXPERIENCE WE'VE EVER HAD HERE AND WE'VE BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARS!!!!!

While working as a server here at ihop on Westover terrace in greensboro nc there was a bunch of favoritism towards workers who have been here for a longer time than me and who had personal relationships with management. I was always handed the short end of the stick in any situation. Management is terrible and will fire you for their short-comings and unfair treatment while their favorite worker gets to stay for years and never get coached. I have a 2 year old and am currently 5 months pregnant ( mind you , no breaks) so this job was important for me and literally all my customers knew I was a good hard worker, I received compliments daily that never reached management but my tips spoke for themselves. If you are not cliqued up or loud in every employees face you won't last long because the people you work with are praying on your downfall. I even had a cook tell me I was temporary my first week working there, at the time I didn't understand it but now I see what he means.

Pick a different location. Was waiting over an hour for food I was meant to pick up over an hour ago. Some Staff are lazy and look like they don’t care about customer service. Gave me no updates on when my food will be ready, waste of my time, could have ordered from a different location, picked it up, and been back home in the time it took to get my food

I really struggled with whether or not to leave this review, but I felt compelled to share my experience from this morning. My intention in writing this is not to criticize the business, but rather to offer some constructive feedback.
The disappointing part of my visit was the avocado sandwich. To be completely honest, if it weren't for the exceptionally kind service I received, I wouldn't have rated my experience so low.
The avocado on the sandwich seemed to be spread too thin, almost as if the restaurant was trying to cut costs. The presentation left much to be desired, and I even had to ask for more avocado from our server.
To the chef, I understand that many people's livelihoods are impacted by your work, so I urge you to take pride in what you do. By doing so, you allow others to do their jobs with dignity and pride.
