We came in and order food to go, and while we were waiting for our food to go, we witnessed a roach crawling across the lobby.

My dissatisfaction with my recent experience at the IHOP location. On March 18, 2026 my family and I visited around 2:45 a.m., and we placed our order at approximately 2:50 a.m.
We did not leave the restaurant until almost 4:00 a.m., resulting in an extended visit due to significant delays in service.
Although one of the staff members appeared friendly, the overall service was extremely poor and unacceptable. After being seated, it took nearly an hour for our food to be prepared and served. During that time, we did not receive any refills or check-ins from our server. It was also very noticeable that other customers who arrived after us received more attentive service.
At the conclusion of our meal, the experience became even more frustrating. We waited approximately 20 minutes for our server to return with our tickets. After being overlooked for an extended period, we had to walk to the front desk just to get assistance.
When it was time to pay, I requested to split my payment by using $6.00 in cash and paying the remainder by card. The server informed me that she did not know how to process this request. After seeking assistance, she returned and stated that I would have to pay the full amount using either cash or card. This response was both surprising and unacceptable, as this is a standard and reasonable payment option that I have never encountered issues with at other establishments.
My total bill was $34.00, and I did not receive a level of service that reflected that cost.
Additionally, I observed other customers entering the restaurant and experiencing long delays before being acknowledged, which suggests a broader issue with service during this visit.
Due to this experience, I do not plan to return to this location anytime soon. I trust that this matter will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately to improve service standards moving forward.

We were seated and apparently our waitress wasn’t told by the host that we were. We waited for about ten minutes without drinks or anything before anyone came to our table. The waitress walked over, apologized and said ‘she was ready when we were…’ but then was like ‘one second’ and dipped AGAIN after we told her we’re ready. We waited for another five minutes while she went to go do whatever and we just decided to leave. Insane. It could definitely be more organized and timely at this location, regardless of how busy it is.

My experience was extremely disappointing and reflects a serious failure in both service and management. My guest and I waited over an hour for our food, and when the order finally arrived, only one of the two meals we ordered was brought to the table. The second meal never came out at all.
After already waiting that long, we asked to speak with a manager. We then waited an additional 20 minutes before the manager, Tamera Scales, finally came in from outside. When we attempted to explain the situation, she told us to “hold on a minute” so she could seat guests who had just arrived, even though we had already been waiting well over an hour.
After another 15–20 minutes, she returned and informed us that she could only remove one meal from the bill, despite the fact that the second meal was never served and the excessive wait time had already made the experience unacceptable.
Our server, Jorden Bell, was also extremely inattentive. They came to our table only twice during the entire visit, never checked in regarding the delay, and provided little to no communication about the status of our order. Basic service and attentiveness were completely lacking.
While I understand that managers may occasionally step outside, being unavailable for roughly 20 minutes while guests inside are waiting over an hour for incomplete orders shows a clear lack of urgency, accountability, and concern for customer experience.
Overall, the situation was poorly handled from beginning to end. Waiting this long for food, receiving only half of an order, and then being met with indifference from both staff and management is unacceptable. Experiences like this reflect very poorly on the establishment’s standards of service and leadership.

Michael, on Landview, was great!! The CS was off the charts, very different from the other locations we have visited. This is the only ihop in Greensboro for my family and I.

My server named Moni was so professional knowledgeable and friendly. I had a bad experience with IHOP years ago and this was the first time I had been back. Because of Moni and the Manager I will be back. The manager didn’t hesitate to fix the problem with my order and when she brought my order back she waited to see if it was correct. Thank you Moni Ms Alma I will be back!!!!!!!

I ordered two classic burgers from IHOP #3512 in Greensboro on battleground ave, at approximately 1:29 am . Once I got home and begin to bite the burger it was bloody red! Mind you a bite was already taken. Before noticing. Open the other plate to find it also not well but more a medium well. I cut the burger and me and my husband split the medium well burger, to add the fries where hot but extremely salty. Next day I called to report that I needed my whole meal replaced due to the inconvenience and was told to come in. I had the burger with me and fries as well. When I arrived I was told I would have to wait for the manger to arrive at 10 pm to handle the issue. When the manger arrived I explained my issue and was told from all that she was only able to replace both orders of fries and one burger! Really we didn't get to eat and had to use more gas to come back and had to wait til u come 20 minutes to tell us so basically. If I could give a negative -5 stars I would!

Went to eat breakfast today at this IHOP.. We got seated immediately and it looked like it was fairly empty. Sat down ordered. I got the coffee cake pancakes platter and my wife got the pumpkin spice pancakes platter. So we ordered pancakes and at no point did the server ever bring out syrup. The server also never followed up to see if we needed anymore coffee despite seeing me turn the pot practically upside down to get the last out. Then when she brought our food she brought me the strawberry banana pancakes and I pointed out that wasn't my order. She said they were out of the coffee cake pancakes I ordered. This after I sat and waited for them and all the other breakfast was brought out. So I had to order other flavor pancakes and wait for those to come out after we had finished our other breakfast items. The food was all cooled by the time it came out also and was room temperature so the pancakes weren't very good. Pretty amazing a pancake joint can screw up the one thing they are known for. But that's IHOP. Pretty mediocre. I won't be returning to this location again.

We had a wonderful breakfast at IHOP. The food was delicious and our waiter Tristan went above and beyond. The manager was quite welcoming as well. Great staff, service, atmosphere, and food. Highly recommend!

We went here after a doctor’s appointment and it was such a nice break before I went back to work. The pancakes came out perfect, our server was super nice, and funny, and checked in with us multiple times to make sure everything was good and to see if he could get us anything else like more coffee and water. I wish I had the guy’s name.
