I'm not going to lie here... I went to another one in Greensboro a few years ago and wasn't impressed. I came to this and this one redeemed my service. I will be back when I'm up that way.

Ordered food here a few times and they always leave 1 or 2 things out. They are not thorough at all when making sure you get everything you pay for. There are much better places to get breakfast in Greensboro.

The burger was a thin frozen patty. It tasted ok even though it was dry. My waffle was doughy. I think you should get breakfast food here instead of lunch and dinner.

Really enjoy the Sunday blue plate special..a meat 2 sides a bread and a drink for 9.90 is a great deal and the fried chicken was really good

Very unfair that they charge you $2.99 to substitute Bacon for Ham in their omlets. The cost should be about the same. They did not use to do this. Server does not tell us about this charge when ordering. I assume they do the same thing if you subsitiuted sausage for the ham.

This one has some of the best people working. They are very hard working, friendly and they keep the place spotless. Bathroom is very clean. The food is decent.

Breakfast. Not the worst, not near the best. Waitstaff not very experienced. It is tasty and will fill the belly.
Went into get diner with my family, food was alright. The customer service was horrible. Waitress acted like she didn't want to be there and I get we all have our days, I also see that I'm not the only one complaining . Our orders were taken after waiting for quite some time. When food was received, one order was not right and had to reorder. Drinks were refilled once without asking. When we asked for refills it seemed like a problem, then still had to wait. Asked for a Manger then was told she was the Manger which shocked me, asked for sauces more than once, first when ordered was placed and still had to ask two more times. There were maybe four other tables, so the restaurant wasn't PACKED. When we went to pay it took her a min to "find" our receipt. I feel like this diner is not like the other Jake's Diners we usually go too. Hopefully they get this under control before it effects their business.
