Dine in | Dinner | $10-20 Who doesn't love a diner! Nothing special of course but food was delicious. I'm a ranch lover, so I can tell the difference between ranches ... theirs were top tier. I'll be back to try their beef tips one night. Service was nice per usual, thanks to Miss Brenda. Food: 5| Service: 5 | Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Home Fries

Came out to Gboro for my daughter's dentist appointment. She chose this place so we rode about 10min to it. The was plenty of parking, which is always convenient. We were told to pick our seats which was a great start! Waitress was attentive and friendly. She took our orders efficiently. Kind to tell us she had all the jelly flavors when we asked her for jelly. I had the bacon cheese omelet which I first thought it looked a bit small but it did the job. Great taste and bacon just crispy enough. Also got a short stack with chocolate chips and it didn't disappoint. The biscuit was fresh and delicious. She got bacon and pancakes, ate most it! Taking some pancakes to go but she was pleased. There were other guests so they do get people here for good eating. The music was light, the air was on and the overall layout was enjoyable. We will definitely come back!

Mia made me the best Arnie Palmer I've ever had. Very attentive without being intrusive to our dinner conversation.

When I order fried eggs at any restaurant, they’re always inconsistent, but today my eggs were perfect! I called to find out who cooked my eggs, and was told it was their new chef McKaya (I may be misspelling the name). My bacon was also cooked crispy like I asked. Mia who took my order over the phone, and waited on me when I picked up the order, was so nice!I will definitely be back!!!I only wish I had remembered to take a picture of the food.

SKIMMING SCAM? BEWARE!This review pains me to write, as I have been a fan of Jake's Diner for almost 20 years and have many, many fond memories associated with visits to their various locations.Today's visit was memorable for other reasons. I visited with my mom and my wife. The food was great, as per usual, but when it came time to pay, the total amount shown on the bills we got before we put down our cards was not the total we were charged. I understand that at this location Jake's has decided to pass merchant fees on to their customers in the form of a surcharge, but this surcharge was not responsible for the discrepancy between receipts. The TOTAL amount, including taxes, BEFORE the surcharge, went up by $0.07. It isn't a lot, but spread over the volume of customers that Jake's has, it adds up.Neither my waitress nor the manager would acknowledge the increase, blaming the surcharge over and over again and saying there was nothing they could do. They admitted that many customers had complained about similar discrepancies with their bills, so it is a known issue, but not one we were warned about. In the end, all told, my table was charged about $0.25 more than what was on our bills, and with no apology or even acknowledgement of the issue.I still left a good tip because I'm not trying to ruin anyone's day, but I am highly disappointed in this deceitful practice and the aggressively avoidant way in which it was "handled." I will never return to this location.Buyers beware.

Ordered a turkey bacon cheeseburger at the window on this beautiful Saturday afternoon, I even lettuce tomatoes and Mayo, which was never added and I didn’t notice until I got all the way home..This was the worst burger ever, and everything was dry and boring, no seasonings..The turkey bacon was rubbery, turkey bacon is supposed to be crispy and the fries were undercooked, no crisp to them, I should’ve asked for mashed potatoes instead .. This is clearly not the Diner for burgers and fries.. I’ll pass ✌?

Good food, only issue is place is very small, if the bar wasn't there, would be much more room to seat more guests in my opinion. Other than that, great breakfast and lunch place.

Can someone explain why this order was so hard to follow? I drove 30 minutes for this to be wrong when I got home. I didn’t know ketchup, onions and cheese would be difficult. I don’t eat all that other stuff and I’m highly disappointed.

First time here. We liked it a lot. Cozy but modern. Good food, good service. old school diner but modernized. We will return. Only one thing wrong, better bring cash or they use credit uncharge.

I order a cheeseburger with ketchup, onions and cheese. I got home and it had everything in the kitchen on it. I ordered it online so how could you get that wrong? 30 minutes round trip and $10 wasted. never again!

Absolutely love this place. Best breakfast in Greensboro. Only thing better than the food is the staff. Really nice people who shoot for a great meal and experience.
