It was decent. I didn't want chain fast food. This place was a good alternative.

Best chili cheese dogs around. I used to come regularly when I worked nearby. Made the trip from Kernersville today for the dogs. It was worth it! Great staff and food.

I went in this shop for the first time today. I thought this is going to be great. They've been around forever! Nope. Upon ordering I was met by someone who was trying to be nice but I could tell was annoyed because I'm not a regular and want my sandwiches a certain way. I stayed cool and ordered. I asked for white American cheese twice and never did she say they didn't have it. I hate yellow American on my sandwiches. They over loaded it with salt. I immediately got a headache. The sandwiches where half the size of a regular sub sandwich. The chips were amazing though! But for the price. The inaccuracy. The I'm annoyed because you want it your way. And The sandwich was just OK. I will pass. They've been open for years. I'm guessing their regular customers are happy. But this northern girl who likes her hoagies a certain way was too much for them today. There are other places that have met my needs. I just thought I would try.

Most the food I had is really good, but the fries are amazing. I suggest anyone going there to at least try them. I've been there quite a few times in the last few weeks and they're always hot and fresh to order.

Eclectic, retro deli. Lots of hot and cold sandwich choices. Ruben was great. Curly fries were excellent, thick and very crispy.

Jams is the definition of a deli. From the second you set foot on their black and white checkered floors and see the classic diner tables and chairs you know you're in for some good food. Their sandwiches are absolutely amazing. My wife used to eat at Jams growing up and we visited when we returned to North Carolina. I think it goes without saying our visit did not disappoint. It was as my wife remembered and I loved it! I ordered the hot Italian sandwich and it was delicious. Loads of meat, cheese, and my favorite part as the addition of the banana peppers. The bread was fantastic as well. The Reuben is very good, but sloppy (which is the sign of a good Reuben). I normally don't get excited about fries/chips but theirs were awesome. They're thicker than a potato chip but not your typically french fry. They are fried perfectly. The outside is nice and crispy and the inside was soft and warm. I haven't experienced this type of fry/chip anywhere. The service is great. The staff is friendly and welcoming when you enter. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. I'll definitely be back to Jams when we visit North Carolina again.

Watched an employee smoke weed outside of the back entrance. Then I saw the employee walk in and head right to the kitchen.

I live for the gazpacho every summer and just discovered the smoked Gouda pimento cheese, which is made year round. Oh joy!
