My husband and I went to Jay's yesterday for lunch. We decided to try the all beef hotdogs. The weiners and fries were piping hot. The meal was delicious! The service was great as well.

I always come by here when I’m able to. I’ve gotten food to-go & dine in. I always will recommend this place. Food is fresh and delicious as always. Very friendly staff and quick service. You will feel “at home” here & a classic diner experience. Such a pleasant visit today; as always. ?

Our waitress came by dropped off our bill and advised our 2 go ordered would be waiting at registered. A few minutes later she came by saying there was a line out door and we needed to leave. There wer several empty unclean tables. We paid but our 2 go order couldn't be found. 10 mins later they found it Got home ordered was wrong. Waitress could have ask in nice way to go. But she was very rude. After years of enjoying Jay's I will not be back. It took 45 mins to get ordered. We were patience understanding they have staffing issues but apparently you are only allowed 45 minutes to eat it and have a conversation

Staff was friendly but the cheese steak I got wasnt seasoned and had warm lettuce. The ingredients seemed kind of cheap and barely melted. Also the bacon cheese fries was like glue and bacon was overcooked. 17 dollars for a very cheap cheese steak was upsetting. And the wait time was kind of annoying almost 30

I got the Rachel sandwich with a side of the spicy chicken gumbo and my wife got a hot vegetarian sub with a side of fries. The food tasted great and can be perfectly described as comfort food! Prices were very reasonable too. Service was great and quick!
