Best food, great customer service. Very clean restaurant. I travel from Charlotte NC just to enjoy great and delicious and yummy food! 10 stars hands down!!! It’s worth the trip!

Very friendly people.
Food is so delicious, perfect for vegans.
The food comes out fast too.
They have front, middle, and patio seating.
Their cucumber lemonade is very delicious.

We went to the place looking at high ratings, surely with high hopes, but soon to be disappointed. My plate was served with and in my first bite I found a small stone in it, we immediately bring it to owners notice but he took it as an usual stuff mentioning it happens as chickpeas comes with them sometimes. (We were shocked to hear it!)
This is not joke to put stone on customers plate!
Food was ok, not that great for the cost. I seriously concerned about the quality of food.

My friend Krystin kept telling me to come here and try their dishes. I finally went and had their lamb burger special today, and it was soo good. I wish I had more stomachs to order 2 more. The person that took my order (I didn't catch his name), was so nice. Definitely a great experience for my first time. I already see several more things on the menu to try, so I will be back!

My Falafel was great. My husband had the Shawarma and it was really good.

This was my actual favorite place to eat in Greensboro and the food is still so delicious and amazing but they raised their prices AND reduced their portions to the point where it doesn’t feel worth the cost. I always tip because I love the staff but my New Jerusalem Platter with tip came out to $20 and there were only TWO falafels on it! I want to keep coming here because it’s so so good but $20 for two falafels feels really hard to justify :/

The mantle of best Middle Eastern in Greensboro is a matter of considerable debate, but for those seeking this type of food anywhere near downtown, Jerusalem Market should be a no-brainer. Upon entry, you’ll see a drinks and dessert case and minimal seating, but don’t let that dissuade you: there’s a more spacious dining room in the back. It’s low-key but tastefully appointed.

Jerusalem Market’s menu offers platters, salads, mezze (small plates), and wraps. There are plenty of vegetarian options as well as lamb/beef/chicken options plus combination plates for those who want a little bit of everything. You order at the counter and take a number back to your table. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

I went with the Armenian wrap, which featured basterma (thinly sliced seasoned dried beef), provolone, baba ganoush, and cucumber yogurt with zaatar pita chips on the side. My wife was hoping for the Turk (similar but with sojouk sausage instead of beef) and upon finding they were out opted for the lamb burger on special instead. Given the day’s humidity, hibiscus iced tea seemed too good to pass up.

Jerusalem Market makes everything fresh, so the food understandably took a bit to arrive. However, it was well worth the wait. The basterma was salty, and the refreshing yogurt balanced it nicely. The zaatar chips were crisp and full of flavor and dangerously addictive (seriously, I could eat a bagful). My wife enjoyed the lamb burger with feta and a side salad, and we were both glad that we went with the hibiscus tea (free refills).

While they may not have the huge portions of a Nazareth Bread, Jerusalem Market’s prices aren’t unreasonable given the downtown location. The wrap was $14 or so and the burger $16.

All told, Jerusalem Market promises a healthy meal using quality ingredients and prepared with care.

Amazing, beautiful space, kind employees, what else to ask for! The food is gorgeous and so tasty. The pie is to die for, the potato salad... chefs kiss!

Not to mention you can feel the love I'm the space. Family recipes and lots of non vegan and vegan options. New favorite place! ?

Truly excellent Middle Eastern spot - falafel is as good or better than any I’ve had, including in NYC. They wrap it in paper-thin lavash (bread)which is brilliant.

Place has a really warm, welcoming vibe. Solid people who are in it for the love, carrying on family legacy for the late maestro. One of Greensboro’s hidden gems.
