playing pool by the hour is cheap. bartender service on the other hand sucks. they are really slow on getting your drink. good music by live bands.

Shiners is a fantastic venue that hosts music performances from nearly all genres. But the Heavy Metal shows are unreal. Friendliest and competent bartenders. Clean, safe, and comfortable. Definitely worth a visit..and it might turn to out to be your main hangout. Cheers!

I drove down from WV to see Saprogen play at the Metal from the Mountains gig, absolutely fantastic venue!! Great staff as well, and it is a dog friendly bar!! I didnt even know that existed! Definitely a unique experience and look forward to future shows!

What can't I say about Shiners? Where else can you find excellent drinks, fun and personable bartenders that hand out Girl Scout cookies and a crowd of friendly regulars? Drinks are fairly priced and seriously, I've neber had a bad drink from either Morgan or Andrew, they kill it. There's always something fun going on and it's my favorite place for karaoke. So yeah, Shiners kicks a***

Since you are so close, walk next door and check out The New Clubhouse for great lice music and amazing drink specials! Check in there for one of their famous jello shots courtesy of YES! Weekly.
Not bad. Booth was a tad uncomfortable but ok. Food was pretty good. Shock top on tap.....freaking awesome.

This place is in a great location for me, the employees are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable, especially when you factor in cheap drinks and daily specials. As for the food, I'd rank them average to above-average on everything I've tried (burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, and chimichangas) with the additional note that they make fresh guacamole tableside on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I don't even like guacamole usually, but whatever it was they mixed up for us, it was great. There are other Mexican places I like just as much, but the price and convenience of this option make it a winner. It's a new business, so please support them!
