Lately hey have fell off. I use to love k&w’s chicken fingers in particular - they were always light crispy and airy. Last year I door dashed the chicken fingers and they were oddly 3x their normal size. I said never again. I tried them again recently and it seems that the chicken fingers at all locations have changed its batter, size and shapes. Very disappointing. I’ve been to 2 locations within the last week and tbw food was cold and unappetizing at both locations. Very disappointing as this use to be my favorite soul food like cafeteria spot since I was a child. In other news, the Caribbean sounding cashier at the front of entrance was a bliss. The highlight of our night! Very nice, sweet and classy lady!

If it were possible I’d leave no stars! This place was horrible! I ordered grilled chicken and grilled onions with Mac n cheese okra and a roll. With strawberry shortcake for dessert. My fiancé got hamburger steak corn creamed potatoes and gravy Mac n cheese and a roll with chocolate pie for dessert. Let’s start with-I got halfway through my chicken and noticed it was PINK in the middle-CHICKEN. The Mac n cheese looked like dried out reheated leftovers. roll was cold. The ONLY good thing was the okra and cake! And they were only good in comparison to the other that we had. My fiancées food was just as bad-he couldn’t even eat the Mac n cheese, his steak was DRY looked like a frozen hamburger patty, roll was cold as well. Potatoes and gravy were ok for him he said but that was it. We paid 45 dollars of our hard earned money and wasted it on this! To say I’m upset is a complete understatement!! I honestly would love my money back! Our tea was TERRIBLE as well EDIT TO ADD: I attempted to contact the number being left in comments to work out these complaints-the number no longer works. And they just gave it out again last week

My husband is a dialysis patient and it takes some thought and evaluation of the many entrees to decide which would be best for him. K&W hasn’t changed since I ate there 20 years ago in FL, the servers rush you and want you to decide immediately as you pass by the beginning of 10 or more main course items and seem to get irritated with you don’t decide immediately!

I wish I could give 10 stars! This particular K&W is one of my top 5 favorite restaurants of all time. The staff here are always friendly and the food is always good! Veggie plate has been my go to for my entire 24 years on this planet, highly recommend. Thank you K&W!

We stood in line for 30 minutes and it was NO line. no one waited on us for 30 mins. then when they did wait on us the food was cold. ALL the food we got besides the food we waited on was COLD AND OLD!!! I have been going here for 10 years and have never tasted bad food like this at K&W before. I am so disappointed and will never go back. My children’s tenders was harder than a rock, My hamburger was not cooked all the way and the fries wasn’t cooked all the way. I would NOT Recommend eating here ever. YOUR better off going to Mcdonald’s. We paid because I don’t believe in being a Karen but we didn’t eat any of the food. The jelly had dirt in it like it was on the floor and someone just picked it back up and put it out to serve.

I love the home cooked meals. If you don't want meat there are some many vegetables to choose from. The meat is delicious,as well. I stopped here whenever I am in North Carolina.
